4 Ways to Earn Automated Home Income
Earn Passive Income Online
Automated home income is passive income. The traditional definition of passive income is: "Earnings an individual derives from a rental property, limited partnership, or other enterprise in which he or she is not actively involved."
Offline, passive income is often earned from stock dividends, or a rental property, but the problem with those two business models is that both require capital to get a return on your investment. The beauty of earning passive income online is that it requires only an investment of time, not money.
The time investment factor is probably the biggest challenge for people starting out because it does initially take hard work and patience to earn money passively online and not everyone has the willpower, or the time, to follow through.
There are quite a few ways to earn automated home income online. Below I have listed some methods that can be used to earn money passively on the Internet.
Design Virtual Products
Use your creative flair to make money on autopilot. Unique sites like CafePress and Zazzle make it possible to design and sell your own creative products through a virtual storefront for free. On CafePress, you can sell t-shirts, mugs, pins, posters and stickers. Money is earned every time someone purchases one of your products. The key is to come up with something different than the rest.
The main advantage of the two sites mentioned is that both handle the printing and shipping for you, so all you have to do is come up with unique products that sell. This isn't a huge money maker, although I have read about some people that do pretty well on Zazzle. I think it's a good option for those who are tired of messing around with Adsense, or affiliate marketing, and want to try something a little different.
Write Useful Content
Writing is still one of the best and most versatile ways to earn passive income online. Quality content is always in demand and writing can be used in so many different ways to earn automated income from home.
Affiliate marketing is a good way to make money, but it's also highly competitive and takes hard work to make good money. One of the easier ways to get started earning money faster from writing is to publish articles on a revenue-sharing site. Revenue-sharing sites usually pay through Adsense, or pay based on the number of page views per article.
The earnings from posting articles on revenue-sharing sites begin with only pennies per day, but gradually increase as more content is created and published on the Web. It takes patience, which is challenging and frustrating for some people, but it's also exciting to watch daily earnings grow every month.
It is possible to earn a full time income from revenue-sharing sites alone, or even only a couple hundred dollars per month, but still, that isn't bad considering it's free. In the stock market, you would have to invest thousands of dollars to earn a couple hundred bucks per month in dividends.
Another way to earn passive income from writing is to sell your own ebook, or use sites like Constant Content to sell well written articles with full usage rights. That means you would be selling the full copyrights to your article. This works because you write the article only one time, post it for sale and that one article can produce sales over and over again.
Sell Automated Gigs On Fiverr.com
Fiverr is a massively popular website where you can earn $5 ($4 after Fiverr takes their $1 cut) completing gigs for people. Gigs include things like creating backlinks, writing articles, providing SEO planning, web design and a lot more. It is also possible to automate gigs on Fiverr and earn semi-passive income instead of doing excessive work over and over again for a measly $4.
Automated gigs do not sell as good as manual gigs, but they do sell. One way to do this is to write and sell a highly valuable PDF report or ebook. This could include tips for getting started with freelance writing, SEO, building a website, work at home tips or whatever else. Technically, this is not entirely passive because you have to click your mouse to send them the content, but you only had to write the content one time.
Cost Per Action Affiliate Offers
I don't care much for affiliate marketing, but CPA affiliate marketing has always worked the best for me and it can be a good way to earn money with your blog, or even by using revenue-sharing sites that allow affiliate offer links. Unlike regular affiliate marketing offers that don't pay you unless your referral makes a purchase, cost per action only requires your referral to register a free account, or enter an email address.
CPA offers pay much less ($.50 to $3) than an offer that would pay out a sales commission, but it's a lot easier to make money from CPA offers because getting a free sign up is a million times easier than convincing someone to pull out their credit card and buy something. Honestly, I don't even waste my time with that anymore because it's stressfull and way too competitve.
There are websites who have their own CPA referral programs, but the majority are operated through free CPA networks like Commission Junction, Share A Sale and Never Blue. The best way to search and compare various types of CPA offers in one convenient place is to register a free account at Offer Vault, which is a massive directory for CPA offers and networks. Once you find an offer you really like, click on it and sign up for that particular network. This is way better than applying for individual networks only to find out that there offers are garbage.
