Does Bubblews Pay Out?

Bubblews: Building Another Stream of Passive Income

My goal for 2013 has been to build multiple streams of income using various web 2.0 sites. Now that I get nice Squidoo Income and Amazon payments on a monthly basis, I started adding other sites. Reading other blogs, I came across one site that was getting rave reviews. After seeing proof of paypal payments from the site, I decided to join.

Bubblews is one of the latest revenue sharing sites on the net. Join the site for free. To make money, you post content and earn for every view, rating, comment and social media submission you get. This adds up very quickly! I decided to run a little experiment. I joined the site on February 5, 2013. I read several articles, rated some bubblews, followed a few people and added two posts on Feb.6, 2013. By Feb. 10th I earned more money on that site with only two posts, than I did at HubPages with 50 hubs! That's all I needed to see. Spent more time researching and running experiments. Now, I'm here to share what I learned!

How to Make Money on Bubblews

Before I start with the tutorial of how to maximize your earnings, I want to invite you to join the site. (Just follow any of the links in this article.) I also want to share that I use Jaaxy (a keyword research tool) to choose every title I use on Bubblews. I'm sure you're wondering why. Here's the reasoning behind that. I am using Bubblews to build passive income. In order to for it to be passive, it must get traffic. I prefer organic targeted traffic from search engines. That's the traffic that converts to clicks and sales. By targeting low competition keywords, I am building passive income for the future.

What's the alternative? Well, I could be on the site every day posting content. Yes, it's fun and easy. However, that's not passive income. That's work. So, if you want to build passive income than follow my lead. It's up to you.

What to do after joining Bubblews

  1. Fill out your profile. Make it interesting. There are three different layouts you can use to show your profile. After testing them out, I found that Expressionist has the best results. Why? The follow button is more accessible. Your posts are visible at the top of the page.
  2. Write your first post. You can use this site to bookmark your money sites, write original posts or highlight news trends. Be sure to write a minimum of 400 characters. You can use this site to keep count for you: http://www.lettercount.com/
  3. Add a picture to your post. It makes it interesting and pinnable!
  4. After you write your post, add tags at the bottom of your article. Add a + sign in front of every tag. That links all of the same articles together. Helps the search engines (and readers) find your articles. This is SEO at it's best!
  5. Now go find some other members that have similar interests and follow them. Rate their articles, comment on them and leave a nice message on their profiles.
  6. When members comment on your articles or profile, you can reply to them by adding the & sign in front of their name. For example, if you were replying to me you would write &supermom_in_ny
  7. Do not add more than 10 posts a day. If you do, your account will be deleted.
  8. Never copy and paste any content even if it's yours. They will close your account.
  9. Payments are processed through paypal. Once you reach the $25. payout, you can request payment. I found many members that stated the payment took a few days to clear because it was an echeck. However, lately members have stated they received instant payments.
  10. Do not ask for follows, comments or views. Do not use traffic exchanges. If you break the TOS, they will close your account.

Bookmarking and Earning at the Same Time

To make the most of your Bubblews, consider bookmarking them on RedGage. By bookmarking them at RedGage, you get more views and earn as well. So far, I have bookmarked several Hubs, Squidoo lenses and blogs on Bubblews. It has increased traffic and earnings here and at my blogs. It has also helped get more subscribers to my blogs. Finally, it can help you increase your Adsense earnings.

Bubblews is a great site to add to your bookmarking sites or blogging platforms. You can use it either way. It helps with your branding, your income and your search engine rankings. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

I hope you enjoyed this hub. Be sure to share with friends by email Twitter, Facebook, pinterest or your favorite social media site. Feel free to leave any questions below. Thanks in advance! ;)

supermom,

Bubblews is very interesting and useful information. I will definitely try it out. Thank you so much for this information! I'm sharing this with followers.

Sorry to tell you that bubblews doesn't pay to all members. Even i am a member there and after writing around 40 original articles of above 500 words, they haven't paid me still..! they owe me $50. So, don't keep high hopes on that site. Instead focus on other paying sites

@jaydene I read about the site and decided to join once they posted their proof of payment. I couldn't believe how quickly one can earn. That's when I knew I had to share the site. It's the easiest way to make money in a short amount of time. Best of all, you don't need a lot of research or words. They only require 400 characters. Excellent way to bookmark hubs or Squidoo lenses. Be sure to leave a message here or over there once you join. ;)

Well Supermom, based on this nice spread of yours, I'm going to have to check it out. I have a side business where I earn passive income already as well as my main occupation. I got onto Hubpages to help people and make a bit of profit on the side. If what you're saying is true, sounds like a pretty nice opportunity. Good tips, voting up!

@prairieprincess I'm glad that you found the info useful. I wouldn't recommend writing long posts. It's a new site, been around for a year. My advice is to use it to bookmark your hubs or share links to news stories. You don't want to put a lot of work into the content. Look at it as an easy way to make a little extra money. ;)

@sarosh kumar Thanks for sharing your experience. Have you contacted the admin o or support? I am basically using the site for bookmarks to my other sites, so I don't write any long posts or share my best content. I have seen proof of payment from many bloggers I follow including a few hubbers. You should look into why they are holding your payment. There might be some misunderstanding. Good luck!

@wetnosedogs I checked out some of your lenses. You're doing well. I'm going to send you an email with some tips, so look for it. Use this site to bookmark your Squidoo lenses and hubs. Be sure to write a little story and refer to your link, then add the url. Check out my profile to see what it looks like. Remember, the posts must be 400 characters, so use the site I posted above. Keep me posted! ;)

Thanks for replying supermom. I have tried contacting them through their contact button placed in the site as we are allowed to contact them only through this button. They were supposed to reply to us within 48 hours according to them. But till now i have sent around 7 mails and i haven't got any reply from them. Their customer service is so bad. Even i have seen some payment proofs and only then i joined that site. but sorry to tell you that they haven't paid me and may not pay others also...

I don't see my recent comment again...! what you meant by " comment moderation to cut back on spammers" how does it apply to my comment?

supermom_in_ny profile image

supermom_in_ny 3 years ago from NY Author

@sarosh kumar It applies to every comment. Sites like HubPages and Squidoo give authors the option of having comments published automatically or manually. If they are manual, they are held until I approve them. This way I can reply to every comment. It also cuts back on spammers that get through the filters. Believe me, there are many.

sarosh kumar 3 years ago

Yes Supermom, i agree to your terms here....but have i said or commented anything wrong as you deleted my comment or didn't approve my comment?

supermom_in_ny profile image

@sarosh kumar I published every comment you made. I don't think you understand. It holds every comment until I manually approve it.

I started Bubblews about a month ago. I was very skeptical because it is such a new site and the pay was too good to be true. However I did keep posting on the site with some older pieces I had written. I was not active on the site other than replying to comments and following one friend I have on there. I just redeemed my first $25.00 payout yesterday which is exactly one month since I started posting there. So, it does payout and quickly. I am still not completely on board with them though, it's still just to new a site and one that crashed on a regular basis. I save my good writing pieces for my hubpages here and my rants and raves for Bubblews. Hubpages for me is a wonderful venue and one in which I want to build a portfolio.

I like what you're saying here about using keywords for search traffic and passive income; also like what you're saying about tags and seo: Because I just joined Bubblews and was just thinking about posting some things without the keyword and tagging, but I definitely see your point; it will just turn into constant work unless you consider the long-term.

Thanks for this info, very useful!

@NateB11 I made some posts and waited to see the results. I am on the first page of Google for several of my keywords, so I do get search engine traffic. Now all I have to do is add enough posts with a fair amount of search engine traffic so that I can earn monthly payments passively. The past 3-4 months have been very busy for me. I haven't done much online except for updating close to 100 squidoo lenses that were facing deletion (long story). I am looking forward to building my passive income again. The last algorithm update has effected several sites and earnings too...

I've been using Bubblews since December and I've already been paid out a few times. Most of the complaints about non-payment come from people who break the rules.

supermom_in_ny profile image

supermom_in_ny 3 years ago from NY Author

@Gina145 Thanks for sharing that! I totally know what you mean. There are many people that claim Squidoo, HubPages, RedGage, etc are scams. I have been paid by all. The problem is that people want to make money online without doing the work. It is work! Yes, you continue to earn from a product hub, lens or blog review for as long as you get traffic. However, you must write the article and build backlinks first. There is no magic bullet. The only way you can get around the work part is by outsourcing some of it. Wouldn't you agree? ;)

Hi supermom,

great article I found thanks to Rajan's link from his hub. I have joined today based on both your and Rajan's reviews so thank you. It will be interesting to see how it goes as I find the minimum characters so small an amount I was wondering do many write long articles? Any I read were certainly short. Voted up, useful, interesting, shared and pinned on writing!

Very helpful hub. I joined Bubblews couple of days ago, and have been reading the articles there to get a feel for their style. I like the idea of of a place that allows shorter content, but I am confused about something.

The rules on the site's TOS says that you are not allowed to post links to any site that you make money from, such as Hubpages. It also says you can't post previously published material but then has a disclaimer saying that you can publish it if it is your material. So, which is it? Is it okay to use Bubblews to bookmark links to your other sites, or not? I've read some advice saying that you can, and others that have been banned for doing so. I've pretty much decided to play it safe and publish all new content with no links, but it would be useful to know whether or not I could link to articles on other sites if they expanded on the blurb I was posting to Bubblews.

Other than that, the site looks great. After reading your hub I am very excited to start posting there. Thanks for the helpful information, especially with the about the tags and comment/reply section. Voting up!

Great advise. I just joined Bubblews today and posted an article. I'm still confused about a few things and thought you could help? Is it possible to create long tail keywords in Bubblews? I noticed when I use more than one word it get truncated. I also noticed that each of these keywords starting with a "+" creates a BubblePulse.....is that supposed to happen?

Also, I have noticed when people bookmark on the site, total words are not 400 but rather much less...more like 150-200. Is that ok for bookmarking?

@Sharkye11 After I joined, they posted that they do not want members posting affiliate links or links to sites where you can gain financially. One can earn so quickly on this site, just by adding 400 characters that I don't mind missing out on affiliate earnings. Branding and building a following can be more lucrative than commissions in the long run...

@maalarue I have used the site for long tail keywords and rank for a few of them on the first page of Google. Didn't notice any truncation of words. Yes, a + in front of a word is the same as a # hashtag on Twitter or Facebook. Don't write less than 400 characters because they will not pay out or even worse, close your account.

Today is the 11th day of the month. I have earned $2.24 on HubPages. I earned $5. in one day on Bubblews. I believe in diversification. You never know what the future holds. I was earning $1000 a month using Squidoo and now that's gone. You must always have multiple streams of income, in case of an unexpected event. Luckily, I write on several sites. All I have to do is add more content to those sites and I will compensate for the income loss thanks to Squidoo.

Good luck on Bubblews. Be sure to add your username here in the comments, so fellow Hubbers can add you.

Kathryn Stratford profile image

Supermom,

I believe in diversification, too. I love this site, because they provide us with a lot of cool capsules to create a nice looking article. But Bubblews is great for less substantial posts. I think I am going to do what you are, and write on several different sites.

In case anyone wants to "connect" with me on Bubblews, my user name is KatStrat.

@Kathryn Stratford Anyone that just experienced the Squidoo fiasco knows the importance of diversification. Just wanted to tell you that Bubblews is an awesome way to make money with short 400 character posts. I just requested my 2nd redemption, which I will get on the 24th. It took me 11 days to earn the 2nd payout. I am should be able to request my 3rd payout tomorrow. That one took about 4 days! Bubblews is just awesome! :)
