Ebates Takes Electronic Couponing To A New Height
Retailers Changing the Shopping Game on Shoppers
I don't like people missing out on an opportunity, especially when retailers have changed the game on shopping. I was grossly annoyed that Black Friday deals started on Thanksgiving evening. I heard several years ago that doorbuster deals started at 11 P.M. on Thanksgiving or even 12:01 A.M. on Black Friday. However, this year, doorbuster deals started at 6 A.M. or 4 P.M.on Thanksgiving. For the first year ever, the Thanksgiving dinner party that I attended had a third of the typical attendees. Materialism is quickly creeping into one of the more symbolic holidays.
Ebates--Better Than Doorbuster
Before attending my Thanksgiving dinner, I decided to look at the deals online. I found that most stores were offering the same doorbuster deals online. Plus, if one were to wait in line, there could be a possibility that an item would be sold out. However, it was apparent that the deals wouldn't sell out online because a store could identify its stock all over the country. In fact, what I concluded was that with Ebates' savings on sales, you end up doing better than the doorbusters on a Black Friday sale. I bought a television from Walmart online, and the difference between waiting in line for the doorbuster sale and the purchasing from the comfort of my sofa was that I saved an additional $17 and it didn't disrupt any of my Thanksgiving social plans.

Ebates Is Easy To Use
It is very easy to start saving money through Ebates. You open an account and look for the stores where you want to purchase. You can browse the different percentage rebated. Make sure that you click on the link to start the savings. Ebates tracks your purchase and records the amount that will be rebated to you. Additionally, you can see the various coupon codes. So, I bought some creams from Origins as gifts. I used a $10 coupon and free shipping for a purchase over $25. Then, on the day that I shopped, Cyber-Monday, I received an additional 12% back ($4.56). I noticed that Ebates uses the pre-discount amount. So, I saved a total of $14.56. I just have to wait for the requisite time, February 15, 2014, so that I am eligible to receive my money.I can choose either a payment by check or by Paypal.
When I go to an Origins store, I rarely observe any deals. Shopping through Ebates is very easy and secretly addicting.
Ebates has routinely announced referral promotions. Currently, the promotion is $50 when two individuals sign up and make a purchase. Bloggers could earn more. I made a referral and received an additional $5 bonus. I am still in the running for the $50 promotional, if I can find an additional participant before December 31, 2013.
