Parents have so many resources today for financial planning teaching children at a young age is a great way to get them familiar with the world of finance and how to handle their money.

One of the easiest ways to educate yourself in the area of financial planning is to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge offered for free online. There are a lot of experts out there that love to answer questions so at the bottom I have included links to free education courses concerning financial planning and a few links to what questions you may want to ask a professional financial planner.

Letting your children see a financial planning budget graph is a good way to let them see the impact of where they chose to spend their money. I have also included a link to a graph you could use for your child to show them where not only the family budget goes but you could make up a graph to show them how to be a financial planner with their own money as well. Teaching children about finances in my family is a life long learning process as the economy changes our budget has to adjust I feel it's important to educate our children about the never ending cycle of learning about the world of finance and how to adjust when needed.
