Downloading free printable coupons, is a definite way to save money on groceries and stretch your budget. It is quick easy and you don't have to wait for the Sunday coupon pages. It is a fact that people have been able to save hundreds of dollars each year, by this frugal practice.

I have seen women who have this thing down to a science. They carry a binder with sections, broke down by foods, products and where they are buy one and get one free. If you feel this is an extreme way to save money, don't judge; it is an activity more people need to consider embracing.

Redplum is relatively easy to use and has been rated 4.5 out of five by users of the site.

Other Places to Find Coupons

You can find coupons everywhere. They are falling out of you mail box, the Sunday news, and at every store. The main rule of couponing, is to only cut coupons, for stuff you use. Look for coupons in:

  • newspapers
  • magazines
  • recycling bins
  • manufacture websites
  • online coupons
  • catalina coupons (register tape coupons

Another good way to get coupons, is to connect with other coupons. You will be surprised to find, everyone doesn't use the same coupons as you. You may find other are throwing away the very coupons you need. You can also advertise in the free section of Craigslist and exchange coupons. Of course meet in a public areas for the exchange.

How to Organize your Coupon Binder

Just Start

If you are new to shopping with coupons, that is fine. We all had to start somewhere. Take your time and use one site at a time, until you are comfortable with it and then move on to the next.

Create a system that works for you and you will do well. Some women create a binder, some use different envelops for different products.

Do not get caught up in the habit of buying things that you don't need or want, just because you have a coupon for it. Use your weekly shopping list to guide you in your purchases.

We don't have those fabulous coupon deals as the USA (no such thing as 10 for $10; coupons in Sunday papers don't exist; double value on certains don't happen here). I view "Extreme Couponing" as a fantasy show (lol). I will be checking out corporate websites though. Much thanks for sharing...
