Getting too distracted with Information Overload - You need to read this
What is Distraction?
Distraction is the natural state of the human mind - where the mind becomes a puppet of different thoughts. Distraction is one big cause of failures in every effort we take. It becomes an increasing challenge to control this human mind as the thoughts keep changing frequently. It defeats the determination on the duty, develops dilemma over different decisions, disappointment over defeat and depression over disasters.
One of the biggest challenges in the Internet Marketing world is - there is way too much information out that causes the mind to get attracted to different "shiny objects". No doubt, all the sources of information sound really great. With the growth of the Internet Marketing, many people have taken this as a opportunity to work from home or start their own home-based business. This results in increased competition which increases the number of "shiny objects" to keep growing. We all have a tendency to different things around - ultimately resulting in no work done. This is one of the biggest reasons for failure. The mind expects instant results for the meagre effort it puts.
The more skilled one gets - the better results they will ultimately achieve in the end. To achieve this goal - one should have to use two important tools - which is Concentration and Discipline.
What is Concentration?
Concentration is that state of mind where the mind becomes totally focussed on the duty. This is that state of mind - where it is detached from the different events and occurances happening in the outside world. One needs to be completely disciplined in order to achieve the required result.
When the discipline becomes a habit - then this will certainly lead to success. As we all know - Concentration Creates Confidence, Courage and Capability over Challenges, Clarity over Confusion and Calmness upon Completion.
