Should You Make a Claim to Recover Mis-Sold PPI? Up to 30 million Payment Protection Insurance policies have been mis-sold according to the Citizens Advice Bureau. Now, following recent court actions, thousands of people are set to claim back ALL their payments.

  • Hypothetical Example: Ms R was mis-sold PPI on a £5,000 Loan. She paid c£40 per month for 5 years. Her claim could be in excess of £2,400 Hypothetical Example: MR P was mis-sold PPI on a £200,000 Mortgage. He paid £76 per month for 6 years (so far). His claim could be in excess of £5,400

Were you were Mis-Sold Payment Protection Insurance? How do you make a claim?

If estimates that 75% of all PPI policies taken over the last 6 years were “mis-sold”, it is very likely that you (or a member of your family) are a mis-sold PPI victim. If you paid for your PP insurance in a lump sum by adding it to the cost of your loan, you are - very likely - due a refund and could start proceedings to recover your money immediately.

The Main Grounds for Recovery of Mis-Sold PPi Payments

According to our research, there are two main grounds for claiming. These are: The Payment Protection Insurance was mis-sold because it would not (and indeed did not) cover the policy holder at times of ill-health and unemployment. Cases include anyone who was self employed at the time – including mothers working from home. The Personal Protection Insurance was mis-sold because the seller (including staff at many major financial institutions) did not advise that there were other policies available from other providers. (Many of these of course would have been cheaper).

TAKE ACTION! To assist you and members of your family with your claims for recovery of mis-sold PPI payments, there are many well established companies with extensive experience in this field. Most offer a No Win No Win Service which should take all the hassle out of the process. If you’ve paid PPI on one or a number of loans – including mortgages, secured and unsecured loans, credit and store cards – you should make enquiries straight away.
