Legitimate Ways to Earn Income Online

Getting a job is getting tougher. The unemployment rate is rising, with no end in sight. The good news is, opportunities to make money online have never been better. However, you have to be careful to select the correct opportunities. Websites that demand payment before paying you are most likely scams. You don't have to pay anybody to make money online. I have provided a list of companies that will pay without any investment from you.

Helium.com is a website where titles are already selected and you post an appropriate article to that title. Your submission will be in competition with other articles under the same title. Your payment is based off of the number of page views you receive and your ranking. This site frequently has contests where you can win cash prizes. You also have the opportunity to submit articles to Helium's Marketplace where you can receive higher payments.

You also can rate articles. You will be shown two articles and you vote on which one you like best. You need to rate a certain amount of articles each month to keep receiving payments. Rating helps other readers, as the higher quality articles will rise to the top.

Associated Content

Associated Content is one of the few sites that offer upfront payment for your articles. However, to be eligible for upfront payment, your article will be reviewed first. So make sure to do your best work. You also receive a residual income based on the number of times your articles are viewed. You can enhance your content by adding audio and video to your article.

Ehow.com is a website which has a slogan "How to do anything". The best way to write an article for them is to write instructions that can be done in a step by step manner. Payment is based on how many views your articles receive.

Taltopia allows you to post your stand up comedy videos, comedy skits, art, and music you compose. You receive "Famebucks" based on the number of fans you have and the number of times your media is viewed. Famebucks can be redeemed for gift certificates to Amazon.com and other stores. They also have contests regularly where you can win prizes. It is also a good website to gain exposure if you are in the performing arts.

Revver is a website similar to YouTube. The main difference between Revver and YouTube is Revver will deposit money into an account based on your page views..

If you sign up for these services, it is helpful to promote your webpages frequently. Promoting them on social networks is a good way to boost your popularity and your income.

Askmen.com accepts submissions from freelance writers. To apply, send a copy of your resume along with an unpublished sample of your work that is between 800 and 1200 words. Topics that are popular on this website include attracting women and making money. They pay $50.00 per article they accept. More information on submitting work to them is here. Competition is fierce, but if they accept your article, it could certainly take your writing career to the next level.

With the exception of Askmen.com - all of the sites mentioned here that accept articles will accept submissions of any ability level. Are you stuck in a dead end job that you hate? Sending your work to one of these sites is a good place to start the transition to getting paid for something you love. So go out there and create stuff for the rest of the world to enjoy!

Do you have any experience with Revver? I heard that they are in trouble financially and haven't paid out for ages. Is this still the case?
