Make Money From Writing Blogs
I know it all seems a little too good to be true but yeah you can actually make money from doing the same kind of ranting on whatever it is that float’s your boat, that you generally do to anyone who’ll listen, the difference if you can do it in a blog and get paid for it and theres a very serious prospect of turning it into a full time income. Imagine sticking two fingers up to your boss to write about the things you enjoy, or if you actually like your boss; then it can simply help to go towards an extra holiday or two a year.
Who pays me?
You get your money from the ads at the side of your blogs, some of these ads are placed there by the blog site itself (Hubpages) and some are placed by Google Adsense.
Hubpages takes 40% of the income from Ads and you take 60%.... THAT is what they get for it. Everybody wins.
I Don’t know what to write about!
Anything! Write about absolutely anything. If its interesting to you, you can ensure that it will be of interest to at least 1 person in this vast world of ours. Write about anything from Your favorite band, your Sports team, Your poems, Opinions on current issues, technical help and advice, lifestyle advice, economy tips… anything literally anything!. There is at least 1 hub and story in every single person.
Do I need to keep writing to earn money?
No, technically you could just write 1 good article and leave it and get paid money for the hits from people reading it, every month without having to do anything with it but if you do continue to write new articles, the more likely you will be to earn more.
Proof that it works
Right now, everyones a little skeptical about… well everything! And rightly so, there is a lot of things on the internet that are a con, a scam or even viruses. So here are stats from my account which hopefully should reassure anyone of the sites legitimacy.
How Do I Get Paid?
Once you reach the $50 threshold, which should'nt be too difficult to do, then you will automatically get paid by Paypal.
Who Will Read My Blog's?
Your Blogs will display in Search Engine results such as Google, the more viewers it gets and providing it has good content, you can get your Blog on the top of the search engines (i.e the first thing that comes up when people search for your subject area on google).
You can also share your blogs with your friends on Facebook, Your followers on Twitter and many other social media sites.
You will also find that you get a significant amount of people from the Hubpages blog site itself that view your work and the more contact and links you create around the blogging community, the greater amounts of exposure your blogs will get.
If you write a particularly good Hub/Blog, then you may get consideration for the 'Hub of the day', which gives your Article the opportunity to be viewed by the millions of people who use Hubpages everyday.
It can be a good strategy to write about a subject or issue that is currently trending (A lot of people are talking about). If your lucky you may find that people are beginning to shares your blogs without you asking and your retweeting you to millions.
Here is an example of how one of my Hubs trended.
77 People shared it on Facebook
26 People Tweeted it on Twitter
and 3 people Pinned it on Pin Interest
It received 2592 hits in 24 hours
a staggering 92,556 people viewed it as part of a slideshow (Possibly on Google images), in a 24 hour period.
"I'll Take a Look at it Another Time"
You may aswell signup and getting writing immediately, afterall every day that you waste is an extra day that your blogs could be online, drawing in views and money from the adviews on the sides of the page.
Getting your first Hub/Blog out of the way is the hardest part, i remember somebody showing me this site and i just thought hmmph, couldnt get the motivation to write one but once you get your first one published and work your way round a new site, then you'll be writing constantly.
