First Learning About Bubblews

While Hub Hopping one day, I came across a hub by Victoria Lynn, who I have read before and enjoyed. So I stopped and read her article, Can You Make Money at Bubblews? Review of My First Week. It grabbed my attention for a couple of reasons. Bubblews sounded like fun, writing short and attention-grabbing snippets instead of long and time-consuming articles. It also sounded like a potential way to earn more money as she had earned $10 in one week by doing very little. So I had to check it out. Within the hour I was a full-fledged member and bubbling away.

If you are thinking about joining Bubblews, be sure to read this post by a long-timer at Bubblews who has been paid 25 times now. His tips will help to ensure your success. Bubblews Tips I Have Found That Works! (I read his tips after my first week and after writing this article - I am now following them and seeing better results).

The First Day On Bubblews

After watching the initial video and reading the site's introduction, I was amused and drawn in. Within the first few minutes I had joined and was posting. You can visit "The Bank" frequently to see how much you've earned, and I couln't help but revisit it constantly in between posts as the number figure became larger with each Like, Post, and Connection made with me. I quickly realized that you start off with a dollar, and after reading more found that you can get paid after earning a minimum of $25.

Coming back to Victoria Lynn's article, I noticed comments from a couple of users stating that many writers never get paid. Some responded that perhaps the rules were not followed. I quickly went back to review the rules. They were pretty straight forward and did state plainly that they would not pay out if the rules were not followed.

I checked my bubbles (posts) to be sure they were all done correctly. They had to be at least 400 characters, so I did have to edit a couple of them and add more content. This was easy enough. I had duplicated one bubble by mistake so I deleted that one. Other than that, everything looked good.

By the end of the day I had earned over $2 (including the $1 I started with) and had posted 8 bubbles. I had 5 connections, over 20 views, and 13 likes. It seemed like I only had activity while I was active on the site. If I left it untouched, the activity seemed to stop.

The Second Day on Bubblews

I added 2 more bubbles today - less motivated. I now have a total of 10 posts (bubbles), 32 likes, 135 views, 15 comments, and have earned a total of $2.82. Again I noticed that while I was posting my bubbles and active on the site, I had plenty of action. When I stopped, it seemed to cease.

The Third Day On Bubblews

Today I was very busy so I did not have time to add any more bubbles (posts), but I made a couple of comments on other people's posts. I ended the day with my existing 10 posts, 32 likes, 143 views, 15 comments, and $2.90 cents.

It is interesting that my stats changed very little when I did not post any new bubbles. Perhaps your bubbles don't show up unless you are actually posting them right away. Maybe the bubbles float away when you are not there posting. The rules for posting are on the Bank page that shows you your stats. They have not changed since I started.

The Fourth Day On Bubblews

Another day where I did not have time to post at all, but I did make 2 comments once again. This is where I am at now. 10 posts, 32 likes, 145 views, 15 comments, and I have made $2.92. It appears that you earn 1 cent for each view. If that is true and I started with 1 dollar, then that would mean 47 cents was earned from the remaining likes and comments which add up to exactly 47. So it seems that on Bubblews, you earn 1 cent for each view, like and comment. And perhaps your posts only appear for a short time.

The Fifth Day On Bubblews

Today I made one post. It was about growing peonies. I also read others' posts and came across one about receiving payment from Bubblews. There has been a lot of discussion about whether or not Bubblews pays their writers. This author said that they most certainly do and presented a snapshot of his Paypal page to prove it. The bubble (post) was titled Proof that +Bubblews Pays and Is Not a Scam. I was very surprised by the $75 he had earned in the span of a few weeks. It appeared that he had a total of 48 posts. Perhaps your posts get more attention over time.

The Sixth Day on Bubblews

I forgot to look at my stats yesterday, but here is what they are today: 33 likes, 174 views, 15 comments, and 20 connections. So far my bank total is $3.22. My goal had been $10 by the end of the week...probably not going to get there.

My Seventh Day on Bubblews

I actually had a few minutes to post a bubble this morning, and became completely frustrated. I wrote a beautiful post about dandelions and how even though considered a weed by most, they are found quite useful by many and even beautiful. I had researched the many uses of the dandelion and included them in my post. I even attached a gorgeous photo I had taken of a field of very attractive dandelions. When I submitted it to post, it said "error" which indicates the photo was too large. I usually copy and save the paragraph in Word before submitting (just to be sure there are 400 characters - one of the requirements for a post), but I did not do this and lost my paragraph completely. Ugh!!! Maybe later I will feel like posting again...for now, not so much.

Here are my stats for today: 11 posts, 35 likes, 182 views, 15 comments and 21 connections. I've earned $3.32 in the span of 7 days.

My Thoughts About Bubblews

Bubblews is an interesting forum. I have mostly enjoyed my time there so far, and I do see potential for income. The community there seems supportive and helpful. I will continue to post there as I find time.
