From cars to garages to the roofs of houses, the untapped world of "solar surfacing" can provide many financial opportunities of income and savings. Any surface can be fitted with paneling. Solar surfacing is the task of adding solar panels to the surface (tops and/or sides) of structures or objects. Engineering variations of solar paneling (i.e. weight, size, material, etc.) on the surfaces of various products must be explored further.

As opposed to using traditional electric power systems or grids which consists of transmitting volts of current throughout a closed network, solar paneling uses a set of photovoltaic modules (natural light electricity-generating panels) that are connected and mounted for unobstructed solar reception. It is important to note that since energizing solar panels does take time to complete, many individuals veer away from solar energy. Solar energy, including solar paneling, is cumbersome to many individuals. However, this assessment of utilizing solar energy is based one's insufficient information and experience with solar paneling. Plugging your electricity into an electric outlet is just so quick and easy – but also increasingly expensive and can be hazardous to one's health.

At $0.60 per watt, the majority of cost for maintaining solar modules is allocated to installations. Over time your cost savings of using solar panels, as opposed to electric power grids, will increase. Increased individual preferences for solar cars, solar garages, solar siding, etc., is likewise increasing the demand and marketability for solar-surfaced real estate and products.

Quality solar surfacing of residential and commercial properties is of increasing demand. Property owners are not just interested in cutting electricity costs, but also seeking artistic designs for maintaining and safeguarding their solar module systems around their homes and properties. Since the minimal surface area of roofs offer, in many cases, insufficient quantities of solar panels, architects and home designers must be more creative in their blueprint designs. Museums and libraries can showcase the potential of solar surfacing and its impact on the earth. Magazines and other information mediums will keep us interested in solar surfacing for years to come. The untapped world of solar surfacing is literally brimming with opportunities.
