Norwegian savings accounts offer a premium interest rate

Rates are still high in Norway

In the current low intrest rate environment Norwegian banks still offer considerable yields for savings with a time horizon of 1-3 years. To open a Norwegian bank account you would need a social security number which can be obtained by moving to Norway and start working there. Norwegian banks guarantee up to 2 million NOK from the bank guarantee fund.
