Tax Refunds: Make the IRS Show You the Money

Tax Refunds to Re-Fund Your Bank Account

Tax season is here and for those who are getting tax refunds you probably want your money as soon as possible. Why? Likely because you just can’t wait to do something very responsible and/or philanthropic with your tax refund proceeds.

Like put a down payment on that new car with the 22s, the giant sub-woofer and the airbrushed flames running up the side panels. Promise me bro, promise me you won’t sell that car to anyone else. My tax refund is on its way, man, I used efile and they are doing a rapid direct deposit. Soon as it’s in, man, I am so over here, like pronto, with the cash-o-la.

Or perhaps a generous and giving direct buy-in for yourself into the World Series of Poker Main Event. I. Am. A. Poker. Master. I. Will. Take. All. Comers. You. Will. Perish. Before. My. Superman. Like. Poker. Senses.

Either of these ideas for your tax refund and so many others await your philanthropic tendencies. Thanks to fast tax refunds compliments of efile.

I Filed, Now When Fo the Tax Refunds Arrive?

Below is a schedule of the IRS’ projected delivery dates of tax refunds, based upon the date that the IRS receives your efile tax return.

The IRS states that it may take up to five days for your financial institution to post your tax refund beyond the “Direct Deposit Sent” date, but it typically will not take more than 2-3 business days.

As you can see, checks are typically mailed out seven days after an electronic deposit would have been sent, so if you want to get your refund soon, you want to efile.
