Wholesale Costume Jewelry Suppliers on the Internet-Where to purchase wholesale jewelry and wholesale items for resale
I have been selling things on Ebay for years and in that time have made my fair share of money. For several years I focused on selling costume jewelry. I purchased many of my bracelets and necklaces from a local wholesaler-all I needed to have was a tax id number and I was able to buy anything I wanted to. After a while I started wondering where the store bought the items that they were selling to me. After some snooping-and some lucky breaks-I was able to find out the names and addresses of some of the store's suppliers. (Actually it was pretty easy-the store staff was notorious for leaving boxes out on the floor when they stocked the shelves and all it took was looking at the packing slips.) I got into contact with the suppliers and before long I was purchasing directly from them.
I've compiled a list of some of my favorite Internet wholesalers and provided there addresses in this hub for you to use. I hope you find the list helpful and can use it to make some extra cash reselling on Ebay.
My absolute favorite website to purchase costume jewelry to resell is Abel Trading. I have been using them for years. You can purchase single bracelets, necklaces, and earrings as well as "dozen" packs. The dozen packs are a real bargain-you can purchase many of them for just $6-$8 each then turn around and resell the individual pieces on Ebay for up to $5 a piece! Many times I would just sell the dozen packs for $15-$20 each. I found this was a great way to sell "theme" charm bracelets; cheerleaders, sports teams, paw print jewelry, and children's jewelry. You can also purchase items like scarves, key chains, purses, and sunglasses on Abel Trading-they stock new things daily so it pays to check back often. To become a member of the site you need to create an account and provide a tax id number.
Another wholesale site I used to purchase jewelry was Fancy Import. They have a wonderful selection of themed charm bracelets that are of very good quality. They also sell things like scarves, belts, watches, hair accessories, tights, and jewelry boxes. The turn around time from ordering items to receiving them is very short-less than a week. One down side to this site is that high demand items sell out very quickly so it's important to check back daily and if you see something you really want-order it right away. You also need to have a tax id to order from this website.
Cheap Wholesale Jewelry
The name of the site says it all. The jewelry you purchase from this site is not of the high quality as the previous two websites, but they do have tons of dozen packs that you can resell on Ebay and make a profit. I recently went on a trip to Jamaica with my sister and saw lots of these same items for sale in the local shops-with the native Jamaicans charging triple what they paid for them. In addition to jewelry you can purchase all sorts of other things, sunglasses, handbags, jewelry tags, packing material, jewelry displays, and gift boxes.
