No, I don't like the trend, nor fo I think anyone else does. Actually, I had thought about writing something about the lack of interest that the American public seems to be showing in the face of our economic calamity.
Congress is bankrupting this country and we are letting them get by with it. The postal service is in dire straits, and has been ffor months, no, longer than that, and the head of that service went before congress to ask them to change the mandate that required the postal service to pay into a retirement fund, hoping it would be done by the end of their fiscal year. Nothing has been done. The same can be said about the overhaul that was needed with the 'No Child Left Behind" law. Our congress has shoved that onto the back burner as well.
Does anyone wonder why there is such a high unemployment rate at this time? Has anyone been paying attention to what has been going on? As long as we are continuing to go down this rocky roade of poor choices and 'do nothing' legislation, then businesses will suffer and employers will not do any hiring.
So, to answer the question, No, I do not like the trend!
