Are you one of those people who actually are making money on hubpages.com?

I am new  here and skeptical about people making money on hubpages.  I have read quite a few hubs about how the hub writers made their money at hp.  But I wonder at what percentage of hubpages users do money here.

HubPages has never released any statistics about percentage of users and earnings, and the more people earn, the less they tend to talk about it.

    You might read this, http://hubpages.com/success/

You don't earn money quickly here, and some topics and writers clearly are more successful than others.

Well, I'm making money through HP, but only a very small amount. And, if you read my hubs and see how I have everything laid out, nothing is properly optimized for making money. This is something I'll be correcting soon. The real thing that HP first helped me with was putting a few things up as portfolio pieces, which led to other contract work, which has proven successful enough for me to now be able to stay home, work less, which means I can now focus on things like this. It did take awhile, though.

I've just started making money this month. Anyone who has the average of around 1,000 views per-day will make money; well in my case that's when I started. I'm expecting three times my pay this month. My only advise is keep hubbing.

No not me.  I don't write to the trend or attempt to choose my topics for earnings.  I write poetry and an occasional informative hub.  It is really for my own enjoyment rather than earning.

Yes! But I think one can only reach this level after a year of serious hubbing. I enjoy writing so much so I think it's like hitting two birds at the same time.

I'm making money, but not enough to pay any bills any time soon. But it's also alot of work to keep promoting yourself, and adding and updating hubs. I've been finding it hard to find the time and motivation to write anything as of late. I need to add more hubs. My views have steadily increased in the past 2 months as has my profits. So at least we're going in the right directions!

No. I have not made money here. Trust me, I don't even have a paypal account yet (well, thought that makes my point). ;-)

You should be dedicated and serious about your work, Hubpages is not get rich quick scheme. But if you are really serious about making money, then you should be genuine and original about your work. And also don't give up , keep writing. It will take some time, but it's worth the effort. Once you reach a good level or once you become a serious Hubber, you will find it easy.

Yes, I do make money every month and do get payout into 3 figures. It took over a year and a lot of hard work to start getting monthly payouts, but right now I am not complaining.
