What do you think about Obama wanting to borrow more money without cutting back on anything?

Can you believe the President asked us to borrow more money today. That is what raise the debt ceiling means. Uses scare tactics such as no social security checks, starving children.  This man has changed since he became a wealthy man and became President the second time.  He bops around with arrogant demeanor that is embarrassing.  He is splitting our country!

Raising the debt ceiling does not add any new spending it simply allows the government to pay its existing bills. Not paying our bills is fiscally irresponsible and everyone knows it. The GOP knows it as well as anyone. They are simply using the threat as a way to try and force an outcome they desire (slashing social assistance programs).

Being that the country provides assistance to a lot of its citizens, not paying the bills might mean some of this assistance will be impacted. That sort of thing has an actual and real affect on people. Describing the potential reality that might result from an action is not a "scare tactic." It's just reality. being frightened or not frightened by it is up to you.

Until he physically begins erecting barriers and herding us into pens I refuse to accept this ridiculous notion that he is somehow "splitting our country." There is nothing wrong with having disagreements with one another as long as we remain adults about it and try to work through those differences. The GOP in this case are the recalcitrant ones. Not Obama.

Raising the debt ceiling allows for borrowing more money.  We don't have the money to pay our bills that's why they want the debt ceiling raised.

When we got rid of the gold backing, we got rid of the need for any printing of money limit.

At the same time that it is the way it has been done since the gold backing went away, it is also the wrong way.

The election was rigged anyway.  Obama is a menace, a liar and probably the devil himself.  He should not be allowed to run a 2nd term.  I find it rather interesting that the Electoral College results just recently came out when the election was in November. Things that make you go hmmmmm.  Obama is all for a NWO and won't stop until he gets it.  He doesn't care about America and her health and wellbeing he is only hell bent on destroying America. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.  My apologies if I offended anyone.  But what in the world is it going to take for people to wake up and smell the stuff that grows the roses.

Another question: Would you rather follow a man with good intentions, or one with selfish intentions? Both may make bad decisions, but I am a believer in always following your heart.

I will only follow a person that owns up to their mistakes and who can work with people and not try and rule like an imperalist.
