Do I really have to pay $47 dollars for the "Super Affliate Handbook"?

Does anyone know where to get it cheaper? or Free or just a HONEST step by step guide to affliate marketing?

I'm not familiar with that one, but I'm betting there are hundreds out there all saying the same thing.

The information is available for free all over, but it's hard to put it together by yourself.  A free ebook by a respected marketer is the bum marketing method.  Just google Bum Marketing Method...it will be the first result.  Start with that, and then if you want to buy something, I can recommend One Week Marketing by PotPieGirl.  She uses Squidoo, but it could apply to any site like that or HubPages, etc.  What I really like about it is it's a roadmap.

All the others tell you what you need to do, but aren't real good at telling you how to do what when.  The PotPieGirl method is pretty much step-by-step.  She also has a website under her name that has tons of free info and tips.

That should get you started, hopefully.  It's real work, though...buying the books won't make it happen...

I wrote a hub about the Super Affiliates Handbook last month, it is possible to get it cheaper if you hunt around long and hard enough.

I have a copy and my opinion is that overall, the book was written a number of years ago - and has been regularly updated since - and it does start with the basics and go all the way through things you need to do/know, but there is a lot of waffle in it too.

It gives a good grounding of the basics, but there's something new to learn every day so no one book could keep on top of current trends and emerging technologies.

I do sometimes flick through the Super Affiliates Handbook just to dip in and out to see if it reminds me of anything I could or should do, or if there's anything that I know works and had just forgotten about.

All the information is available free on the Internet, so it just depends how long you have available to get up to speed.  There are things I learn still every day - and if I stop learning something new every day then there must be something wrong because you can never stop learning how to write, build your web presence, promote products or promote your own website, product or services.

Hubpages can give you everything you really need to know, I guess the purpose of a book like this Handbook is to deliver the information in a chapter format, so you know when you are at the beginning and the end.  Looking things up online can often  just mean you're grabbing pieces of a jigsaw, but you're not sure how (or if) they fit together, or even if the pieces you have are from the same jigsaw.

As I recall that's a Clickbank product so you can just buy it using your own affiliate id
