   Are most people motivated by a desire to make money?

   I think it depends on where you are in life. There was a time, when I was younger, that I was all about the dollars. Now, I teach classes under a Pay What You Want fee structure, which allows people of little means to pay hardly anything, while those who have the means to pay more. It's more important to me that more people have access to my classes than it is to squeeze $120 or more out of every student.

   The world pretty much revolves around the dollar bill.  At least this side of the world does.  I think most people want to be able to make ends meet and have a nest egg.  Money does that. Yes, decisions are made by how much money they have.

   I think this depends on age, experience and how much money you all ready have. For example, someone who feels that their religious beliefs are more important than money will not be as motivated as someone who may not have that on their mind. People who have been around a long time and seen money come and go, as it is wont to do, may be motivated by other aspects of life such as helping their children or doing what is right. And obviously, someone who is wealthy may be motivated by many other factors to do things. Overall, I guess, it just depends on the circumstances and person.

   Everyone in the world wants to make money because it is the most powerful/influential thing in this world. Yet being motivated by money is a different thing entirely. It's like saying would you kill someone for all the money in the world? Most people would say no due to their morals, however others would accept it immediately. It also depends on the circumstances of a person, how much money is involved and the requirements around it.
   
   All be it being motivated by money is not a bad thing, it just means you want to become successful and make your life a little easier in regards to financial strength. However others make money for darker motives and would do literally anything. Me personally I am motivated by happiness, I have no need for royalties as long as I am as happy as can be.

   Yes I do. Financial security is what most peopl are taught to seek after in life and thats a good thing.

   They are motivated by a desire to get what they want and do things they'd like to do. Money is simply a means of exchange, instead of bartering physical items or stealing or exchanging favors.
