   Common misconceptions include; red cars are most expensive to insure; by getting a collision and comprehensive coverage on your car insurance, your insurance company will pay for any damage to your car, and newer cars are more expensive to insure.

   Here are some more:
   parking tickets affects your premium rate, auto insurance premium rates depends upon the whims of the provider, if you use your car for official purpose your employers insurance will cover it.....and many more like this. this list is quite long bro

   The assumption that everything is covered. It's not.
   1) Even if you have a 'fully' comprehensive policy all that is covered is the bodywork of your car (including the interior).
   2) Your windscreen is not covered
   3) Your tools (golf clubs) in the boot or lap top left on the back seat are not covered.
   4) If you are injured...you are not covered.
   5) Don't assume you will get a hire car if you need to claim.

   There is no such thing as full coverage.  You have to make the decisions about what kind of coverage you need.
   
   8 factors determine your auto insurance rates:
   
   1.  Your driving record.
   2.  How much you use your car.
   3.  Where your car is parked and where you live.
   4.  Your age.
   5.  Your gender.
   6.  The car you drive
   7.  Your credit.
   8.  The type and amount of coverage.
