Thank you for asking, Aley! I actually do have a hub planned for this topic one of these days behind four others I'm developing right now. So my answer will be brief--FOR NOW.
The number one change has been moving from a remote area in New Mexico to a marine environment close to downtown Seattle. I've never lived in a city and didn't think I'd like it, but I do!
Next is the day to day life on the boat itself--fewer possessions, no freezer or oven, complicated systems for heat and cooking. It's sometimes frustrating, but I'm getting used to it.
Though life in Seattle is more formal in ways I'm not used to--harder to start up a conversation sometimes, for example, life aboard is very informal and friendly. Our marina is like an extended family in many ways. People are friendly and interested in the boat wherever we go. I'm spoiled because of the unusual and historical nature of Argonaut II--I get lots of attention and compliments.
