      Dear Jyoti.

Someone called jalifz1s started this thread, which was obviously a spammy message about making money on Paypal.
WhoArtNow then posted the comment "spam"

Hubpages must have received reports about the first posting, and deleted it.

Therefore leaving WhoArtNow's comment as the first post.
Hope this clarifies the situation for you.

      Eric G.

Yes, exactly. That's why the "report" link and not "reply" should be used when something obviously spammy should be reviewed by the HubPages team for removal.

Yeah sorry, I clicked reply instead of report. It was (another) $6 Opera and 20/20 scam.

There's been a lot of them recently, very annoying.

Is that a proper, or even polite answer?

Did you join 14 months ago and patiently sat on the side waiting for the proper moment to accuse Mark of being impolite to spammers? Amazing lol

No. You need to open your eyes. Allow me:

Spammer no1 opens a thread about a great opportunity - in this case "THE PAYPAL 6 DOLLAR MONEY-MAKING METHOD"
Spammer no 2 drops by and asks for information regarding this wonderful opportunity.
Spammer no1 leaves a link to the scam site.

Simple. Business. You should know about cons and scams - right? You being an expert in international finance. big_smile

You will also notice that the original spammer has had his post deleted by admin.

I can't believe it took about a week for the second guy to pop up and make his comment! Usually takes a lot less time...
