How to Make Money Online For Beginners

How to make money online for beginners is a question that is often asked, well by beginners to the world of Internet Marketing mainly!

That question cannot be answered simply, which is why so many newcomers to this field get confused and easily taken in by all the sharks that lurk at every turn. The short answer to how to make money online for beginners is a simple one, really and that isthis:

Keep your eyes open

Keep your wits about you

Learn everything you can from many different viewpoints to get perspective

Don't pay for anything at first, no matter how tempting it might appear

Don't try to run before you can walk

Ok, those points cover pretty much all of what you should be aware of in the very beginning. In the following chapters, I'll expand upon them.

Keep Your Eyes Open and Your Wits About You

This is sound advice and common sense in the first degree. There are an army of people online who are all trying to make money from their efforts and most of them will have no conscience about getting you to buy into their "great opportunities" or follow their "expert advice".

Don't.

There is plenty of information freely available online that covers most aspects of how to make money and most of the truthful stuff will actually tell you that it is one of the most difficult things to do.

That will appear to fly in the face of all the hype that tries to convince you that you can easily make a ton of money online. Sure, its nice to believe that when a flashe ad tells you that this "expert" can show you how he makes $3,000 a day online for only doing two hours work and with almost no startup costs. There are thousands of people all doing that and its so easy to get sucked into the hype and promotion that surrounds it.

But when you view all these ads with your eyes truly open and your wits about you, logic and common sense should scream at you that all this cannot possibly all be true. Look at any real world business and you'll see that its impossible to start a business with hardly any startup costs. You need a large amount of capital to stand any chance of succeeding in a real world business, so why should it be any different online?

Its not. Most of those so called experts who are peddling their scams at newcomers don't tell you the whole truth. Maybe they do make $3,000 a day, but what they don't tell you is what it costs them to make that amount of money.

There is always a trade off and you can't get something for nothing.

These people will spend almost as much in a day as they make in advertising and promotion. Out of the $3,000 they may just scrape a hundred dollars or so in profit if they are doing it right. If they are not doing it right, then they could actually be losing money, when advertising and promotion costs exceed the income. This happens more often than not and many of these so-called experts will not be around in 6 months time because they went broke.

This is the harsh reality of Internet Marketing.

There is no "push a button and wait for the money to roll in" scenario. It does not exist, except in the dreams of newcomers like you who have been sucked into the fantasy world of the con artists.

Learn Everything You Can

If you want to know how to make money online, you have to read and read and read! There is a lot of information to take in and even thatis not enough.

Experience will also play a part in how successful or not you are with your attempts to make money online. There are currently several good and free resources online that will teach you how to make money online but even learning everything you can about how to make money online is still not worth the paper its printed on if you do not follow your call to action and get to work!

If you are not prepared to put in the work, then maybe this is not for you and you should check out the job recruitment ads in your local newspaper!

Don't Pay For Anything at First

No matter how tempting this or that special offer which will show you how to make money online, do not under any circimstances part with any cash for anything to begin with.

Many an eager and fired up potential Internet entrepreneur is shot down in flames before they get a chance to realise that potential by spending a lot of money on all the wrong things because they all promised easy money. There is time for that later. You need to learn the ropes first.

Once you have learned sufficient of what is needed to make money online and have put into practice some of that knowledge by building your first websites and blogs and seeing how things are done properly, then and only then should you consider venturing out and buying one or two tools of the trade.

Now there are some good software tools that will help you to develop your online business that you will need as you progress. But hopefully by this time, you will have learned enough to know what to steer clear of and wehat will really benefit y9our business.

Remember, this is a business and you must treat it like a business. You should only pay for tools that will enhance your business and if that means some eBooks and software tools then you should be in a position to know what is good fopr your business and what is not.

Don't Run Before You Can Walk

This is sound advice for anyone venturing into the unknown. And the world of Internet Marketing is a big unknown for anyone who has n¡ot been involved in it at all.It takes time to figure out how it all works and what you can do and what you cannot do.

Never rush into anything, no matter how tempting it may appear.

There will be a plethora of hyped up ads for this or that special offer. They follow along the lines of :

...and if you sign up before the offer ends at midnight tonight you'll get the special bonus price of only $47. Don't miss this one time offer, sign-up today! Then there'll be some not really small print that will inform you that if you miss the deadline the product will return to its original price of $197!

Piffle!

All these offers are generally to be avoided in any case and the few that are worth buying will generally not need to resort to this kind of hype.
