my quest to be financially free

show me the money

if you are reading this it should be obvious that i am not a writer.i am man that's on unemployment.a man who spends most his days searching for a job,day in day out interview after interview, waiting for the phone to ring and the next job to begin.i discovered hubpages a couple of weeks ago so now i have found a place to vent my frustration.my mission is to create my own job, career or whatever you want to call it.my mission is to be my own boss.i have started 2 ecommerce sites in the last 3 weeks, and by the end of 2008 i will have many more sites earning some type of income creating cashflow.i have decided to create paychecks instead of putting in 40-60 hours a week for 700 dollars a week, why not put in 32 hours a week into my own business and make 10000 dollars a month?its just that simple.the average cost of one my products is 35 dollars.lets say i sell 100 products a month, that's 3500 dollars a month.buying and selling that's what its all about.my next job will be my last job.no more running around in the box,its time to play outside the box.the only way to make something happen is to decide commit and then take massive action.i am determined to break the shackles of a 9 to 5.i will not be a wage slave any longer.if you are reading this i hope you get something out of it.for me this is just blowing off steam.i am on a mission to get paid so show me the money.if you have any advice on how to generate massive traffic i would be very thankful if you shared that info with me.carpa diem.

carpe diem again?

I am unemployed.  My wife is disabled.  Our grandson who is in our care is also disabled.  I am 62.  Life is NOT about money or carpe diem, which means,"seize the pleasures of the moment without concern for the future".

That's the attitude that's got the world in the mess it's in today!

carpa diem means "SEIZE THE DAY"take control of your life and stop depending on someone to look after your financial health.I am 38 and unemployed,i am a caretaker who has to take care of my 81 year old grandmother, she is disabled one leg amputated.having senior moments coming and going.bills on top of bills,so i guess we are opposite sides of the same coin ,coldwarbaby, you may be unemployed but you don't have to be.your hubs are very creative, you would be perfect for video game design, commercial art, computer animation, comic books,i can tell you have a wild imagination, you should write and illustrate your own graphic novel get it published.62 is no longer old.62 today is not the same as 62 was yesterday.you might be 62 but you have plenty of time to make something happen.look at john McCain he's in his 70's running for president."so a man thinks so he is"thoughts become reality.money is a tool.like it or not in this day and age, money is necessary.i know this because i have to deal with medical bills and prescriptions that cost more then rent,i say show me the money because i have responsibilities that will not wait for compassion or for people to grow hearts.

Please bill, don't tell me what the definition is.  You can't make one up to suit your needs.  Look it up.  By the way, you're spelling it wrong.  It's carpe diem.

car•pe di•em (kär p d m , - m, d -)

interj.

Used as an admonition to SEIZE THE PLEASURES OF THE MOMENT WITHOUT CONCERN FOR THE FUTURE.

n.

Such an admonition.

"i have responsibilities that will not wait for compassion or for people to grow hearts."

I understand bill. I'm in much the same position with the exception that I am 62 and have worked HARD all my life. The attitute that you are endorsing is what got us here in the first place.

Yes, we laborers are an inferior lot aren't we? Just let us do all the work, at poverty wages and, when we can't lift the load anymore, kick us in the ditch and leave us to rot. It's an efficeient system for making profit.

no one is inferior unless they think they are.i am not rich cold,i'm unemployed looking for a job.i do not care about the system anymore,i am createing my own system that will sustain me and my family for the rest of my life.because at the end of the day money can't buy you love or provide you with happiness but money can pay the bills.and if you live in america you are going to have to get with the program or you just might find yourself on skidrow, wondering how you got there.you are 62 i am 38,your benefits and what not will be there for you.i'm 38 my benefits might be there might not.washington is scrambleing trying to save social security right now.i can not continue to just work and think that everythings going to be provided for me when my time comes to retire cause it won't.so i am tackling this money issue now while i'm young so when i get old money will be the last thing i have to worry about.

Good luck with that bill.  Be sure to convert your dollars to Euros, gold or something that has some real value.  In a few more years the dollar will be worthless.

As far as my "benefits" are concerned, who knows how long they'll be available to me?  Beyond that, they won't be enough to feed me, let alone my wife and grandson.  As long as money is a necessity, you will always have to worry about it.

By the way, I know that no one is inferior. You just need to convince the obscenely rich fascist capitalists of that. It is they who believe that they are superior to anyone who actually labors for a living. They will not be satisfied until they create a world of only masters and slaves.
