Writing For The Web – Add SeekSuccess To Your Portfolio
Writing for the web involves a lot of work, but it is also fun, especially if you write on multiple websites and meet new online friends every day. I’ve been enjoying Hubpages and Seekyt for quite some time and started getting attached to "my babies." It seems as the third baby is on the way! Just recently, I’ve discovered SeekSuccess, a website structured as a user-generated site with the possibility to publish articles, videos, images, audios, reviews and products, and let us not forget, earn some ad income on the way.
There are so many websites similar in foundation to this one, but of course, each of these websites has "juice" of its own. SeekSuccess is still young, unexplored, hidden, not crowded – a newborn. However, there’s hard work done on the website and the time has come for people to get to know about it, check it out, share their opinion about it, spread the word, and sign up and get started.
Personally, I love newborn sites, but it always depends on the personality behind the website whether I’ll sign up and spend my precious time there. Luckily, (probably for both me and the owner), I concluded that this baby is worth my attention – not just the "Goo Goo, Ga Ga " attention, but a new start, new communication, another learning and growing experience.
Personality in the background of a website is very important to me. Hubpages is a giant with a great team behind the scene, Seekyt has the kind of admin others will have trouble competing with, and SeekSuccess has a small team trying to make their great efforts work in a courageous and kind way.
So, I added SeekSuccess to my egg basket and plan to expand my writing for the web experience. Of course, I’ll treat myself with backlinks at the beginning (my golden rule – not more than 1-2 external links, it’s always better to be a fair player), and if the baby starts smiling back, and especially if it brings more numbers in my Google AdSense account or Amazon checks, we will have a much stronger bond.
First of all, the revenue sharing is quite simple and pretty satisfying: 75% of time you have your publisher ID shown on your pages (AdSense), and the same goes for Amazon. That’s a nice percentage; other than Infobarrel, I haven’t heard anyone is offering more, only less than that.
They currently don’t have a referral program, but it is being considered.
Things You May Like About This Revenue Sharing Site
You can publish web content in form of:
- article (at least 350 words long),
- website (bookmark).
Read SeekSuccess Content Guidelines and additional reading on SEO – you’ll be happy to see that they only accept high-quality content (yes, it can be good quality even if it’s short) and legal, transparent SEO techniques. A dream environment for true online article writers.
The commenting feature is currently disabled, but it may come back if people show interest in interacting on a higher level, as real-time online friends. I’m looking forward to the return of this feature.
The Goal of SeekSuccess
This site has a specific goal; they don’t aim just at providing more information on the Web (because there’s plenty of information everywhere) – they want to offer the right information, the kind of message or knowledge that will actually help people in their real lives in a variety of ways.
They would like to build a community – not just a writing community – but, the kind of community that’s both professional and family-like, ready to give and receive, help, willing to learn and share knowledge for the benefit of self and others.

- Self-Help Writing
Maybe you have an idea of what self-help writing is but you can deepen that understanding by learning what self-help is and what it isn't, why it's so popular, and why publishing articles in this genre will enrich your life and make you happier.
If these sentences don’t describe what you think about the site, it would be great if you shared your opinion in the comments below.
SeekSuccess is focused on self-help (a.k.a self-improvement) content so you may want to learn more about self-help writing. I wrote another article on the subject and I hope you'll benefit from it and think about applying the principles of such writing to your other websites. (The link is on the right)

Writing for the web is more fun if you write on multiple sites. However, for beginners, or people who don't have enough time to spend it online, it's usually overwhelming. SeekSuccess may be a good choice if you can't write long articles - still, they have to be unique and quality articles. Those who tend to be more productive are encouraged to write longer articles (note that the 350+ words is the minimum requirement).
