Interview with College politico

  1. Tell us a little about yourself. Well, my name is Stephen Gutowski. I'm 21 years old and I'm going to be a senior at Messiah College, a school that I love, this year. Thanks to Hubpages and other writing outlets I am now an amateur writer and political commentator.
  2. What brought you to HubPages? I actually found Hubpages on the job board at problogger.com
  3. What do you like hubbing on, with respect to topics? I usually enjoy Hubbing on political topics but I also make fun hubs from time to time.
  4. What has been your best Hub so far (in your opinion)? Why?My favorite hub to date is How to achieve success on Hubpages because it seems to be the one that has helped the most people. I'm extremely happy that even four months after it was published it is still helping people make higher quality hubs.
  5. What is your favorite Hub by another Hubber? Why? While I've come across many many hubs that I enjoy immensely I think that Democrat vs. Republican Tax Cuts by Chuck because it goes in depth and explains a complicated issue in a simplex and easily accessible way. I found it to be very informative. Keep up the good work Chuck!
  6. What is one nice thing about HubPages (the site) that many might not know? I think the best thing about Hubpages that people might not realize is just how easy Hubpages tools make building a web post. It really is amazing how easy it is to make a high quality product in such a short time!
  7. Name one thing you learned about from another Hubber's Hub that you didn't know about before. I think the most important thing I've learned from an article on Hubpages is the importance of building good backlinks to a variety of good sites so you can get good targeted traffic.
  8. What kind of Hubber do you typically join the Fan Club of? Why? I typically join the fan clubs of informative or interesting Hubbers who are clearly knowledgeable on whatever they are writing about so that I can learn from them.
  9. If you could impart one piece of advice to a new Hubber, what would that be? The advice I would give a newcomer is to learn as much as you can from more established Hubbers. They are an extremely useful resource and are friendly and nice people.
  10. Tell us something that we'd never guess about you - surprise us! Hmmm... something you'd never guess about me? Well, I manage and host a series of political talk shows at my school and hope to one day have my own professional radio program.
