Interview with SparklingJewel
- Tell us a little about yourself. I am enjoying my anonymity on HubPages, though I don't feel that I am impersonal at all. This is a new experience for me...sharing myself with the world (potentially!). Maybe one day I will uncover myself for all to see...but not today!
- What brought you to HubPages? I came to Hubpages to practice writing, to unify and refine my thoughts and words.
- What do you like Hubbing on, with respect to topics? My favorite topics to Hub on are understanding what creating a wholistic lifestyle means. An aspect of that is understanding the unity behind all forms of spirituality, religions, philosophies and belief systems...past, present and future.
- What has been your best Hub so far (in your opinion)? Why? My best hub so far is on the Tenets of Buddhism and about the Buddha . It has the most clear information and organized content. But I like it the most because many others have and many more are still enjoying it!
- What is your favorite Hub by another Hubber? Why? I can't say I have one favorite Hubber, there are several that I enjoy reading because of their personal style and the unique information they share.
- What is one nice thing about HubPages (the site) that many might not know? I appreciate learning more about how people communicate, and I am not sure other people think about that aspect often. We have so much to learn from each other!
- Name one thing you learned about from another Hubber's Hub that you didn't know about before. I have really learned a lot about caring for pets from the pet Hubbers...I have tended to let my pets just be there and the pet hubs helped me realize that I need to interact more with my pets.
- What kind of Hubber do you typically join the Fan Club of? Why? I typically haven't gone after fans...I usually am drawn by title and what the content might be and then if I really feel this person has put his heart into it. But I also look at writing form and structure.
- If you could impart one piece of advice to a new Hubber, what would that be? I heartily encourage new hubbers to continue to find subject matter that is unique to themselves and build their writing skills...I am still working on that, too!
- Tell us something that we'd never guess about you - surprise us! Many of you may be surprised to know that I have a hard time thinking of myself as being almost fifty years old...half a century!? I usually feel like someone under 25 and have had many funny interactions because of that mindset...I might need to write about those sometime! Take Care and keep on Hubbin'!!! Much Love, SparklingJewel
