2011: THE YEAR THINGS WENT DIFFERENT…

We broke out of a shell we thought was our destined cocoon, and realized that life was not about blindly following what was not the path that God chose for us.


We are all likely to make a change one year or another. Whether the change comes now or later; it is only for time to determine that…because change will inevitably come. Recall the time when you were young enough to be a child, and then when you were old enough to start a family. Recall when your childhood allowed you to explore what life was, as it openly stretched its arms to you. Then when you grew up to give back what it gave you years ago. Those distinct changes were not the result of a moment, and certainly not an outcome of a couple of years.

Life creates within our memories certain milestones that we can’t surpass, and because some milestones are shared not only with ourselves but with others…we honor and cherish them in our memories.

The year 2011 was certainly one of those “milestones” that was and is shared by a very large part of the world. We may not touch the events of those years with our memories…it may not affect us directly as all things in life do…but it certainly shall someday. When we talk about 2011, we talk about a sector of people who changed our routine in a way they were not aware of. We broke out of a shell we thought was our destined cocoon, and realized that life was not about blindly following what was not the path that God chose for us. They made us realize, that a milestone…is a beginning we choose, not one in which we follow.

You ask me is this a milestone? Certainly! Has it affected you and me? I can only answer for myself and I’ll tell you yes it has in many ways. But has it affected you? That’s a question only you can answer. But if it hasn’t, someday it shall. Someday it shall…
