A Friend in need is a friend in jail
Washington, DC, July 27, 2011—The Washington Post reports that Rep. Luis V Guitierrez (D-IL) was one of a dozen protestors arrested yesterday while protesting President Obama’s position on immigration reform. The Post reports that the Congressman conceded that the president is correct when he says “Republicans are blocking immigrant reform…but it doesn’t get him off the hook.”
Good job, Congressman. Although the Republicans are obstructing immigration reform (“immigration form could be a fill-in-the-blank after “Republicans are obstructing….”) the good gentleman from Illinois has chosen a time that the presidents is wool-gathering and staring at the debt ceiling (by the way, to my mind, Republcans are obstructing raising the debt ceiling..) to protest in front of the White House. Glad that we can count on party loyalty In a time of crisis.
Now I suggest kneeing the President in the face while he is bent over from the one to the midsection.
