A Liberal Called Me A Bigot
If you can read this, then I have passed the arduous Quality Assessment Process.
The Playbook Opens
A lib fired up her made-in-China keyboard and called me a bigot. Her ploy originated directly from the Progressive Playbook: when a argument cannot be logically assailed, bad names surely follow. Set your Apple Watch by it.
The bad names include:
- Homophobic,
- Bigot,
- Sexist,
- Racist,
- Ageist, and
- Republican.
We logical thinkers must choose to either defend ourselves or cower. Sadly this tack works all too often. Giant conservative organizations recoil in fear rather than face being branded.
A Screed Without A Home
Overthinking this issue makes my pea-brain hurt. I wonder if it's entertainment or Home and Garden or Sports and Recreation? I surmise Our Favorite Liberal hates me: perhaps filing this screed under Politics and Social Issues seems appropriate.
Studies indicate a hefty number of Liberals don't read articles listed under Politics and Social Issues. Usually this is because they can't sound out the big words but often they simply cannot argue with conservative thought. When you favor Big Government making your choices for you, there's not much to worry about beyond insulting those who disagree with you. Sometimes a Liberal finds their way into this category, but usually it all ends in tears.
Sad, but true
So I'm a bigot because I quoted a nationally syndicated content provider. I cited a published author who regularly lands on the New York Times Best Seller List. I mentioned a dude who hosts national radio talk shows. I trotted out the opinion of someone making their living through writing stuff.
My bad, I guess.
Via twisted Liberal 'logic', that makes me bigoted.
What's Wrong With Canadians?
Last I heard, Canada boasts superlative health care and tasty bacon. Alex Trebek is from Ontario, according to Wikipedia. The weather pales in comparison to Havana, but don't Liberals favor free hip surgery and Double Jeopardy?
I, for one, love Canada. If you believe I'm from Ohio, as my HubPages profile asserts, then I live perilously close to the southern border of our friends to the north. Is it possible that Liberals have turned a blind eye to all that Canada offers, such as federal parliamentary democracy and the Intuit people? I love their accounting software.
I've been called worse by better.
Hubpages has never shielded me from these attacks. I have been suspended for (allegedly) causing a verbal boo boo but to my knowledge this censorship doesn't go both ways. Let me be very clear on this issue: there is no guarantee of free speech on this web site. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution does not apply here. Hub Gods and Hub Acolytes enjoy the right and privilege to ban or censure anyone at any time. This is their sandbox and I understand that.
Take this Handy Poll
Please answer this question honestly.
Whither Progressive Thought?
... and I use the term thought very very loosely. When, by definition, a political movement prefers the government to do their brain-work for them, we must wonder if they should be taken seriously at all. In The United States we welcome bad ideas of every ilk and we provide soap boxes from which to bleat. I appreciate that about my country.
No doubt Progressives will see fit to bleat into the Comments capsule I have thoughtfully provided below. I welcome anyone with two brain cells to rub together. Even Bernie supporters may comment with impunity. All I ask is no profanity and no links. The profanity is immature and the links may lure away my readers.Since I don't have many readers, I want to hold on to them as long as possible.
Any other content is fair game. I never delete comments unless those two rules are violated.
You can be in the tank for Bernie or Hillary or even Donald: your comments are welcome here. As for me and my house, we will think and act conservatively.
Canada. You're Welcome.
Almost to 700 words
I am so close to being featured I can taste the 10's of hits that will roll in. Just a few more words at an 8th-grade level will bring me fame and fortune. The Holy Grail of HubPages is within reach.

I don't know what that is, do you? - A Liberal Called Me A Mentally Challenged Child
