An Answer to Our NATION: What to do now?
Respect and Responsibility: NOT restraint and loss of freedoms!
WE THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE!
BUT WILL WE STAY AS "THE PEOPLE”?
Elected Officials: Those who we put in office, THEY REPRESENT US to MAKE OUR LAWS,
and their beliefs and opinions effect the outcome. We need know who is in office and be supportive.
WHO ARE WE AS A NATION?
Have we lost our purpose?
The only thing left is public outcry or public involvement in "Policy":
The only thing left is civil and social change: WHO do you want to DEFINE OUR LAWS?
Our Government will be our babysitter IF we don't get involved with the process and definition of the United States of America; and who we ARE!
AMERICA THE FREE, NEEDS OUR HELP!
We need to interact and make ourselves and our values known to our representatives, senators and local officials.
We need to follow our lawmakers into the Policy Chambers.
GOVERNMENT POLICY and OPINION IS being taught to our kids, all the way through to the university level. Let’s find out WHAT we are teaching!
A value system, cobbled together, trying to be "politically and universally correct" is already within our educational institutions, and our social system; it is defining us as void of accountability. If it is not producing what our founders intended, then let’s put the blame on "US", as the "PEOPLE":
National values are changing.
International values are taking hold.
Other participants in the UN would see us toppled as a nation, OR have us become as they are.
Is there any other country you would like to be like?
U.N. PEACEKEEPER policies are already set.
I don’t think controlling guns is the whole answer.
I don’t think controlling people is the whole answer.
Do you like that the rest of the world can impose the "rules" for us?
Freedom and liberty is our heritage.
Responsibility is the companion of Freedom.
WHEN WE GIVE IN, CAN WE EVER RETURN WITHOUT A REVOLUTION?
It’s important for us to STAY A PEOPLE:
It’s important to STAY INVOLVED.
It’s Important that we keep our identity and ownership of our country!
WHAT IF WE were to TAKE BACK CONTROL of WHAT we TEACH?
WAYS TO REDUCE THE PRESENCE OF VIOLENCE TO OUR CHILDREN
Reduce TV violence:
Reduce computer games violence:
Schools: teach these students (WHO WILL CERTAINLY GROW UP) that our freedoms are valuable:
The value of human life:
The sanctity of human Life:
RESPECT for OTHERS:
Maintain BASIC MORALS:
EDUCATION and AWARENESS
What if we focus on this for the next 10 years? Or even for 20 years?
Introduce AMERICAN VALUES as a School Curriculum.
Give more freedom to ROTC, Campus Ministry, and other organizations to reinforce self value:
ALLOW respected VETERAN presence in EDUCATION) Let THEM teach defense of freedom courses.
Let THEM teach Self Respect Classes.
ALLOW us to practice RELIGIOUS FREEDOM:
Acknowledge we are a CHRISTIAN NATION & allow PRAYER.
LET OUR LEADERS lead us in the LORDS PRAYER. and the 23rd Psalms. Establish BASIC VALUES:
REINFORCE that the HOME and FAMILY are important parts of our society.
We need reform within ourselves, or we will be owned by those who discipline us because we can't respect ourselves like we used to.
A child who is not disciplined is subject to produce actions we are not proud of. If we teach them what is right, and about respect, then, if they commit violence as an adult, THEY are wrong; but if we fail to show them HOW to respect the rights of others, Then WE are wrong.
IT is totally about Respect: It Is about Responsibility: If someone cannot control themselves and we KNOW we have shown them how to respect others; then they must be subject to the Law and the Courts and to Public Discipline; but if we cannot show that we have taught them how to respect Human Life and Freedom, then WE are at fault.
But for God’s Sake, Let’s NOT become imprisoned as a nation by out of control criminal activity; with ineffective laws and with officers desperately trying to control violence because we have done none of the above! Let’s react as responsible citizens. Are we each doing our part?
My father taught me to respect others, and always reminded me there are basic priorities in life. I believe as a whole America has lost track of her priorities of what is important. Learning to respect others starts as a child. These are my thoughts as a life-long citizen of the United States.
