Abortion, the liberal agenda

I believe it is important that we better educate people about Abortion and the obvious liberal agenda which is behind it. It is reprehensible that people in our own government are trying to shove this practice down our throats. Planned parenthood gets around 33% of it's income from the federal government according to a national report, and weather or not it was intended to directly fund abortion, in one way or another through legal loopholes 487.4 million of our tax dollars went to this billion dollar industry.
The polices at abortion clinics are never in favor of the child, the councilors are not expected to present alternative options, such as adoption, or welfare programs. Most professionals in the field feel that it is not advisable for patients to view the products of conception, to be told the sex of the fetus, or to be informed of a multiple pregnancy.
The phone operators at abortion clinics receive professional training by marketing directors in selling abortions over the phone. The over all objective of abortion clinics is to get the pregnant mother into the operating room as soon as possible so to avoid a long waiting period where she'd have time to think about what she is about to do.

If people were educated on the truth of this matter, and the psychological damage which occurs in the wake of such a decision, rather than being sold the fear of inconvenience, and that a person would be better off knowing that there isn't another person out there whom they created, that the number of abortions in America would decrease dramatically.

Unfortunately the opposite is true. The current sentiment of liberal progressives is that a child who might get neglected is better off dead. A child who might have a bright future with adopted parents is better off dead. A child who might grow up in poverty is better off dead. It's my body and the government shouldn't have a say, even though it's tax payer funded. I should be able to choose convenience over responsibility.

Dehumanization

It is part of the dehumanization process to not consider the murder of a fetus the vial act that it is, but rather a good and merciful thing. The Nazis used to kill people in mass quantity when running their death camps, and the only way not to go insane during the process was to psychologically convince themselves that their victims were neither human or subhuman, just a mass of flesh to be disposed of. Compare this quote to some abortionist quotes;

"To tell the truth, one did become used to it...they were cargo. I think it started the day I first saw the Totenlager [extermination area] in Treblinka. I remember Wirth standing there, next to the pits full of black-blue corpses. It had nothing to do with humanity — it could not have. It was a mass — a mass of rotting flesh. Wirth said 'What shall we do with this garbage?' I think unconsciously that started me thinking of them as cargo....I rarely saw them as individuals. It was always a huge mass. I sometimes stood on the wall and saw them in the "tube" — they were naked, packed together, running, being driven with whips." -Franz Stangl head of the Treblinka death camp, murdered over 900,000 people.

Here are a few quotes from abortionists who's job it was to lie to expectant mothers. Note how obvious it is that the abortionists were dehumanizing the fetuses by lying about their stage of development and refering to it as an "it" or a "mass", or a "blood clot".

"We tried to avoid the women seeing them [the fetuses] They always wanted to know the sex, but we lied and said it was too early to tell. It's better for the women to think of the fetus as an 'it.'
--Abortion clinic worker Norma Eidelman quoted in Rachel Weeping

"Sometimes we lied. A girl might ask what her baby was like at a certain point in the pregnancy: Was it a baby yet? Even as early as 12 weeks a baby is totally formed, he has fingerprints, turns his head, fans his toes, feels pain. But we would say 'It's not a baby yet. It's just tissue, like a clot.'"
--Kathy Sparks

"Saline abortions have to be done in the hospital because of the complications that can arise. Not that they can't arise during other times, but more so now. The saline, a salt solution, is injected into the woman's sac, and the baby starts dying a slow, violent death. The mother feels everything, and many times it is at this point when she realizes that she really has a live baby inside her, because the baby starts fighting violently, for his or her life. He's just fighting inside because he's burning."
--Debra Harry

"One night a lady delivered and I was called to come and see her because she was 'uncontrollable.' I went into the room, and she was going to pieces; she was having a nervous breakdown, screaming and thrashing. The other patients were upset because this lady was screaming. I walked in, and here was this little saline abortion baby kicking. It had been born alive, and was kicking and moving for a little while before it finally died of those terrible burns, because the salt solution gets into the lungs and burns the lungs too. I'll tell you one thing about D & E. You never have to worry about a baby's being born alive. I won't describe D & E other than to say that, as a doctor, you are sitting there tearing, and I mean tearing- you need a lot of strength to do it- arms and legs off of babies and putting them in a stack on top of the table."
--Dr. David Brewer of Glen Ellyn Illinois

Surprise! You had sex!
Surprise! You had sex!

Rape, incest, and the threat of death

The only extreme circumstances which occur in the United States that come close to justifying the taking of a unborn child's life pale in comparison to the one and a half million abortions which occur annually. In fact only about a maximum of 500 women, (which is an astounding number), have abortions due to rape annually, the rest are just irresponsible people who have been brainwashed into thinking that it's a quick fix from getting caught up in their own promiscuity.
The agenda of pro abortion entities such as ACORN, planned parenthood, and the ACLU is to lie and coherce in order to convince women that an abortion is the only reasonable path to take. Once you step inside an abortion clinic a dehumanization process comprable to a Nazi death camp begins. The child is always refered to as an "It", a "Blood clot", or a "mass of cells" in order to detract from any kind of notion which would remind the mother that a person is inside her.
They will do everything possible to persuade the mother to get an abortion. It is a documented fact that they use such tactics, they tell the mothers who want to know the gender that it is not far enough along even when it is. They keep the monitor turned away so the mother can not see a picture of the living being growing inside of her.
They say that it is relativly painless but when a saline abortion is administered, the mother will feel the child kicking violently as it's lungs are fatally burned.
The whole thing is fueled by money. The more abortions the clinics perform the more funding they get. Our tax dollars go to it when it only costs about $500.00 on average to kill a fetus.

It is obvious that the decisions our youth are making is based on the social acceptability of this practice which is driven by liberal teachers in our schools, and the biased media. They act sad and concerned when the decision is made to have an abortion but are ultimately happy that the individual rights of the woman triumphed over the life of an unborn child.

"It's my body"

Liberals tout the idea that the government has no place dictating what a person does with their body, but clearly they do not consider the body of the individual who is growing within. The argument is that it is not a person yet and therefore it should not be given the same rights to life as those who are already living outside of the womb. But there is overwhelming evidence that the wast bins of abortion clinics contain tiny elfin thorax's, a rib cage in parallel rows with tiny knobs of spine rounding upwards, translucent arms and hands, tiny heads and bodes, some pieces of legs, and other distinct body parts.

If in fact the government should have no say with what goes on with a persons body, then no other insidious practice should go unchecked. In this scenario, all harmful drugs would be legal, as well as prostitution. When this happens it would completely sink the liberal assertions of a need for social programs such as healthcare, unemployment insurance, and welfare to be extended freely to every citizen. Along with this there would be a dramatic rise in death, divorce, and broken homes in general in the country, more fatherless children, and less education.

This is obviously counter to the goals of society which should be to progress in knowledge and understanding, and to allow justice to prevail. The importance of basic human interests on this road will undoubtedly become less desirable as the social elites will seek to slacken the laws which cover abortion.

The justification of such widespread fetal murder isn't enough for progressives, it is already a popular notion that having a large number of kids is much too inconvenient for the average person, and they can not afford it. With this mentality eventually social elites will list to mandate a one child rule in America. So once again the government will be telling you what you can and cannot do with your body.

Abortion is a form of eugenics. And unfortunately, it seems to be working.

I think limits should def be in place on abortion. Abortion after the 2nd trimester and into the third I can get on board with. But I do not support banning them completely.

Why? It's not up to me. It's none of my business. I am anti-abortion, but I am also pro-choice. I do not believe the government has any business in my bedroom or in my doctors office. Pro-life sounds great, but in reality it is anti-choice.

Bringing up the abortion debate in a time where our economy is in a morass and unemployment is still above 8% is a horrible idea for Republicans. Doing so will cost them votes in November. Independents don't like the debate and neither do Millennials, which are starting to have a large effect in elections (Millennials are the main reason Ron Paul has had such strong showings in Iowa and New Hampshire).

politicalzealot, Certainly interesting thoughts however I would have to say in rebuttle to pro life being anti-choice, Pro-choice is anti-choice for a fetus.

Regardless of how the subject is viewed during our economic hardships I would much rather advocate the sanctity of life even in hardtimes over the convenient way out which is being constantly preached by the liberal media.

I am a father of four, and the soul provider for a family of six. It is not impossible for the average person to sustain a family. I can do it without government assistance, and I do it while putting a roof over their heads and food in their bellies.

We as a society simply are not being taught to be charitable enough. Rich people are not the only greedy people in this nation.

Thank's for commenting.

Fantastic! Your article is fabulous! You are right on target; right in the center of the bullseye. Well done!

As you noted, "the councilors are not expected to present alternative options, such as adoption" because "councilors" is not what they are at all. They are salespeople.

Thank you very much!

Thanks for the props James! it is important for me not to condemn the people who are duped into having an abortion. I would rather expose the industry for what it is.

I've read some of these facts before from very legitimate sources. This is an excellent hub you've written. I think if you could post the sources of the facts and numbers more fence-sitting people would begin to think about this matter with their brain and their heart. The real 'it's my body' people won't change their minds. Great hub. Sharing it.

Great hub! I found it because it was linked on one of my hubs. The quotes you gave made me feel sick to my stomach. I just for the life of my cannot understand the mindset that it is okay to kill something that is a live human being at the very beginning stages of life.

Thanks for reading Cari. It's nothing more than a false rationalization to think that they are doing something other than destroying an innocent life.
