All Lives Matter

The battle rages on

There has been so much in the news, like; brutality by the police, white privilege, racism and poverty. These things are issues that are like fire and fuel, and the media and even politicians are the ones who are dumping fuel onto the already blazing fire.

There is indeed a huge issue that we must deal with. We have seen and are seeing more often than not, brutality from law enforcement toward homeless, people with mental illness, those of colour and also those of various religions. I am sure even some others I have not mentioned.

When I paused, took a step back and thought about this, I wondered why this is going on. I contemplated this for some time. I have some ideas, bear with me and see if you agree.

Since the fear of terror attacks and the fear from such brutal cults like isis our politicians have wanted-and have-enforced surveillance laws, stricter firearms laws, more thorough inspections and pat-downs and even body scans at airport and the list goes on. In short, we have lost more rights and freedoms.

This trend of more government and law enforcement control over our lives will get worse, we will lose even more rights and freedom as time goes on.

Now if we take this information and look at the brutality by law enforcement as we have seen, and if we place in into context with the things causing greater division between black and white, Muslims and Christians and Jews, pro life and pro choice, creationists and evolutionists etc we can see that greater protests and strife will get even worse and the media which is controlled by the government will fuel this fire.

The more we fight among each other, the more power the government will gain, as they will say that they need to enforce more restrictions, laws etc upon us for national security and/or for the safety of the population of the country.

The goal of the government is to have full control over its citizens.

We must stop fighting amongst each other, then ban together and fight the ones who are fuelling the fire of strife, we must fight the politicians who are causing the problems and robbing us of our rights and freedoms. This is our country, the politicians and police work for us and they must listen to us and obey us. If they refuse, if they don't listen to us, then it is our duty to remove them from power and to put in power the ones who will obey and do what we , as a nation want.

Remember what Hitler did, little by little he took rights and freedoms until the people had no power to fight back.

Remember this poem, it is truth:

First They Came
Pastor Martin Niemoller

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me.

We must stand up for each other, for our rights and freedoms, for what our nation was founded on and built on. We must not fight against each other. Let us ban together before it is to late.

George Orwell, in his famous book, "Nineteen Eighty Four" wrote about what we see happening today, sure he was ahead of his time, but what he wrote IS what we see happening today.

Our country is worth fighting for. Even if it means a revolution. Revolutions are patriotic and are the duty of every citizen that is under a government that is not for the people or by the people.
