The above photographs are from the many protests I have "covered" for personal interest and/or for university related work, over the course of the last eleven years.

The photographs in the bottom music video are also mine. Those are from the G20, Toronto, 2010.

What can I say, Mr. Happy? I'm in Alberta and these pictures are a surprise and a shock to me. Has the Charter of Human Rights been rewritten while I slept? Thank you for bringing the truth to us all.

Another sadly embarrassed Canadian.

What bothers me is that the police officers are "regular" folk as most of us yet, the "System" uses them to fight "us" ... basically we are fighting ourselves.

Satan is at work, we only need to give ourselves to God. We can never fight to win.

Mr Happy don't sound so happy now. I don't think we (am not a Canadian but we are all brothers and sisters on this earth, also Canadians are Americans too) are at war with ourselves. It's them against us.

It cannot be them against us if we are all brothers and sisters as you say Mrs. Monet; it must be us against us really ... By the way Monet is my favorite impressionist painter. Cheers!

I is amazing how fast the world as we know it changes into a totally different place. I've seen pictures like this from Miami.

a picture is worth a thousand words...and these pictures speak for themselves. It is a sad thing.

cannot believe this is North American - what has happened to us? This has happened in the last twenty-twenty five years - how could we allowed this to develop?

Sad and terrifying.

I would simply remind you of the words of that father to his son in the video you sent me: The wolf that wins is the one you feed.

Your attention is the lens of your mind and if you look for and focus on conflict then that is the wolf you feed.

I once questioned a hubber who proclaims to writes about spreading love in the world. She starts every day by watching the news and all the terrible things going on in the world. I asked her why she chose to feed her mind such negative food. She blocked me.

If your mind is the camera then point it in the direction you want to go. Your mind will create what you focus upon.

I love the photographs especially the guy sitting on the road and the other one of the young man having a tug of war with the policeman's shield.

I would love you to have a look at my gallery in deviantart. I started to dabble with photo manipulation a few months ago and I sometimes use the images I create with my hubs. My hub "Pictures For Hubs" tells the story of how I found deviantart and my relationship with the artists whose work I regularly use. perhaps you too might join! My username is atnates in deviantart.

Thank you for sharing this hub with me.
