Attention All Rejects: Your Accepted
"Win as if you were used to it, lose as if you enjoyed it for a change."- Erick Goinik
Facing rejection can be a tough factor to deal with, but realizing our potential regardless of circumstance is the most powerful possession to have as we pursue our goals in life. Whether it is within our careers, education, relationships or other, this is a part of life for everyone. People may not know it at the time, but what one person rejects can be a prize in someone elses' eyes. In truth, everyone wants to feel appreciated for what they are and their potential. Although it is human to acknowledge and fuel this desire, all success and the worth that establishes this success starts with us knowing without a doubt, our own potential and self-worth, and still continue to pursue what we want in life, no matter how far-fetched it may seem to others and even ourselves. Never let someone tell you or make you feel that you do not deserve what you want in life and lastly, always know that it is already yours, whether it can be seen yet in the physical world or not.
Usually the people, whether they are or are not meant to support us along our path are important to every lesson that we are learning about our internal reflection. We may chase after someone or something that we are not meant to have, only to find that something or someone else better awaits. So take rejection as a constant reminder of a divine purpose and timing for something greater. When the time comes for you to have it, you will and expect that there is always something uniquely suited for us, and only us, and whatever it is, it will succeed our wildest expectations.
What we are meant to do is to continue living our life by embracing our differences and those who embrace those differences in us. Most human beings are alike in many ways and yet we live different lifestyles, have varying perceptions and typically different life paths to follow. What someone else has is not always for us, but no matter the circumstance, we have many accomplishments that deserve to be acknowleded and will be in our own right. We each have something to offer and can contribute something new to the world as we know it. In fact, this is what the world needs, people who stand out to show us what we ultimately yearn for, which is ironically, someone to make a difference. Striving for your desires is an act of persistence, faith, patience and knowing that what we already have inside us will eventually reflect in the world we live in.
Know it, love it and live it every moment of your life.
