Barack Obama; A Disappointment

Obama Put Agenda 21 Into Action

Update July 16, 2014: Presidents Daily Tracking Poll

President Obama has been an extreme disappointment! His arrogance and authoritarian style leadership through executive orders demonstrates a total disregard for our constitutional laws and protections. The founding fathers, my grandfather and father, all fought against this type of tyrannical government. They believed in protecting our liberties, sovereignty, and the people from this type of regime.

Past presidents have utilized Executive Orders, or a type of Executive Order, since 1789, to control the Federal Government. Some presidents have used Executive Orders to establish laws when the Congress refused to move forward on what the president(s) felt were crucial agreements or laws that required immediate action. This dangerous precedent cannot be taken lightly. It is subversive, destabilizes the balance of government, and endangers our liberties.

Proof and point; in 1972 the United States, by Executive Order, signed a treaty allowing the United Nations --- and its member countries --- access and authority over American soil – including our historic buildings, parks and cherished wilderness areas.

The United Nations' World Heritage Treaty (UNESCO) controls designated World Heritage Sites, and Biosphere Reserves. The national governments (the U.N.) are required to protect these landmarks under the treaty. Since 1972, 68% of all U.S. national parks, monuments and preserves have been designated as World Heritage Sites. The areas are selected for their cultural, historical and/or natural significance.

UNESCO headquarters are located in Paris, France.

Since 1972, 20 important symbols of national pride and 51 million acres of our wilderness areas have become World Heritage Sites or Biospheres. Following are a few examples of what is now under U.N. control:

· Statue of Liberty

· Thomas Jefferson's Home at Monticello, VA

· Washington Monument

· Brooklyn Bridge

· Yellowstone National Park

· Yosemite

· Florida Everglades

· Grand Canyon

and the list goes on...

The most disgraceful of all is the inclusion of Philadelphia's Independence Hall. The birthplace of our Republic is now officially a World Heritage Site. This historic property is where the Founding Fathers drew up and signed the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. These vital documents sat America apart from other homelands and created the world's longest-standing democracy which now, is no longer under the exclusive control of the American people and their government.

I concur that protection of our cherished lands and documents is a sensible undertaking however; surrendering control of our sovereign territory to foreign powers is appalling and threatens our rights and liberty. One must open their eyes and shake off the false sense of having an honest government --- a government that respects the people, their constitution and land.

It is no longer a government for the people and by the people. That policy has been replaced by corruption, greed, power, and control. The driving force that feeds politicians in all, levels of government. A force that leads to complete and restrictive government control.

This election year (2012) is extremely important. Please, research and study the candidates before voting. Do not vote because you are loyal to a particular political party. Vote because you want to keep the freedoms and protections our ancestors fought for down through the centuries. Do not disregard the heritage we have been given, vote for candidates who demonstrate leadership qualities and integrity.

James, thank you for your comment on this article. I hope others will grasp the seriousness of abuse through executive orders.

Thank you Josak, and I will only answer with this comment---not all is, as it seems! Every time Obama does not get his way, he writes executive orders. I realize these (as I stated in my article) are used from time to time but they should only be used in extreme circumstances. That's not being done with this administration. On the issue of UNESCO, please do more research on this subject. What I found was unsettling!

Actually it was Obama that killed SOPA the bill that would have censored the internet.

UNESCO has no authority over any US sovereign soil, all UNESCO does is catalogue a list of historically important buildings and unique natural structures and lobby for their protection, they also provide experts for maintenance with the permission of the ownership body (which in this case is the US government) the executive order basically just allows UNESCO to use it's experts for maintenance (the best in the world) until such a time as that order is canceled which it can be at any time.

Executive orders are part of our government authorized by the Supreme court under the basis of Article 2 Section 1 Clause 1 of the Constitution.
