Belle is in Mourning

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, December 22, 2014. Our dear friend, Beetle Belle, is at the breakfast table this morning. She is grieving for the slain NYPD officers and their families. Please join us this morning to talk about these heinous assassinations. Belle and I don't have much of an appetite this morning. We will be serving buttered toast. We need to see you soon.

Murdered in Broad Daylight

Thank you all for joining me this morning. A gunman who told the world online that he was planning to kill two "pigs" in retaliation for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner kept his word and murdered two of New York's finest in cold blood and in broad daylight. In light of the despicable and irresponsible behavior of New York Mayor DeBlasio and Al Sharpton, it is fair and reasonable to place the blood of these dead officers squarely in their hands. I feel it is even more reasonable to say that Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama belong in this group. All of these men heightened the unrest that followed in the wake of the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. All of these men blamed the Grand Juries for making an uninformed decision on their guilt or innocence. All of these men were dead wrong. The Grand Juries heard testimony that helped them form their opinions. The idiots who are protesting all over the country don't possess one single fact about either case. Neither of these men were innocent victims. Both of them were committing crimes and both of them resisted arrest. When morons who take to the streets and burn down stores protest anything, they are just idiots who need to face arrest. No one has the right to close down bridges or disrupt traffic. In a city like New York, either one of these acts usually spell death for some innocent victim on their way to one of the city's hospitals. The protests in New York City were just as despicable as the ones in Ferguson. If you didn't hear about the violence, it is because the media didn't want you to hear about it. The media is also complicit in the deaths of these law officers.

Fanning the Flames of Violence

The Rev. Al Sharpton has a long history when it comes to causing trouble and stirring up emotions. He rarely tells it like it is. The fact that President Obama now considers Sharpton a credible source of information and consults with him is alarming. The fact that the fools in Hollywood are now going to let Sharpton help them decide what films they should produce is enough to turn the clock back 100 years. Al Sharpton should be serving time for tax evasion. Instead he is making decisions that will affect all of us. This isn't a bad dream or a bad movie. It is the ugly truth. Mayor DeBlasio should have shut the demonstration down in New York that called for wanting dead cops. I was living in New York when Rudy Giuliani was Mayor and I can say with complete confidence that he would have acted decisively. Attorney General Holder added to this mess by telling the nation that he planned to further investigate the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. He should have defended the Grand Juries and spoke about the rule of law and the integrity of the Grand Jury, which has been in existence forever. President Obama should have called for calm and defended our system of law and order. Instead he spoke of racism and added fuel to the fire. Every single one of these people are responsible for the murders of the two NYPD officers. They fanned the fires of racism for reasons that are best known to them. Strangely enough, I think President Obama came into office with a chip on his shoulder that he didn't mind keeping. The same is true of Eric Holder and DeBlasio. They need to push the race card because despite their election and appointment to important positions, they still feel angry and disenfranchised. How bizarre is that? Shame on them.

Enough is Enough!

If you have northing productive to add to the situation, it is advisable to keep your mouth shut. Mayor DeBlasio should consider resigning. He got off on the wrong foot when he came into office and it is highly unlikely that he can keep New York City from imploding. The Rev. Al Sharpton should go directly to jail. Sadly, this isn't a game of Monopoly and he will be around much to everyone's dismay. Attorney General Holder is leaving his position and that can't happen soon enough. President Obama still has two more years to tear us apart and that is way too long.

My heart goes out to the murdered officers and their families. I would love to see a march in honor of these officers and all of the police around the country. Normal law abiding people who have jobs and are raising families often don't have time to demonstrate. They are too busy raising their families and doing the right thing. Maybe it's time to change that. The thugs and lunatics have no right to tear our nation apart.

Belle's Song

Lunatics, lunatics

The whole year through

Just an old tired song

Keeps our nation going wrong....
