Tevya Has a Headache

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, October 3, 2016. Our dear friend, Tevya, has had it with this election, these candidates, the media, the lies, the stupidity and the inability of way too many people to see that we are coming apart at the seams. Please join Tevya and me for a rambling look at all the things that are "bugging" him, pun intended. Tevya is serving potato pancakes and applesauce for breakfast. I will be serving Irish coffees and aspirin just in case he gets your nerves. Buckle your seat belts, poppers.

Honesty is a Rare Bird

Thank you all for joining Pop and me this morning. I guess you could say that I woke up on the wrong side of the nest today, but I am so sick of the crazies in this nation who don't give a hoot about honesty. Remember Pinocchio? Every single time he lied , his nose grew larger. If that were true today, we would be hard pressed to move around easily with all the giant noses bumping into each other. Hillary Clinton has no clue about the meaning of honesty. She lies with an ease that is frightening. For that matter so does the mainstream media. Put President Obama on that list as well. While you are at it, add FBI Director Comey to the group. Let's not forget Attorney General Loretta Lynch. Former President Bill Clinton deserves a spot, perhaps even two spots. In a normal world, where truth and honesty were valued, Hillary Clinton would have been toast long ago. She started her lying years and years ago, and she is still on top of her game. During the debate with Donald Trump, she referred to the fact that he hadn't paid federal income taxes. She was counting on her belief that the voting public would take that statement to mean that he broke the law. He didn't break any law. He was in total compliance with the tax code. She knew that, but she was hoping we were too stupid to understand. The New York Times jumped on the bandwagon by calling Trump out for not paying taxes he wasn't required to pay. They ran an op-ed written by their editorial board slamming corporations for taking advantage of the tax code, indicating that it was unpatriotic not to pay taxes that didn't have to be paid. Only a fool pays taxes that are not owed. In 2014, The New York Times avoided taxes, and it was perfectly legal.

President Obama told us more than once that he learned about major events in this country by reading the newspaper. He stated that he never knew about Clinton's private server. The problem with his assertion is that he was corresponding with Clinton on her private server. OOPS ! He did it by using a pseudonym while she served as Secretary of State. The truth can be so inconvenient sometimes.

Hold That Plane!

The New York Post has reported that FBI agents told them that Attorney General Lynch and Former President Clinton struck a deal on that strange rendezvous at a Phoenix airport. Unfortunately for both of them, a local reporter discovered the meeting and Lynch was forced to tell a fairy tale about what went on. She told the nation that the ongoing email investigation was never brought up. Pardon me while I take an aspirin. She told us all that she and Clinton talked about their grandchildren and golf. Contrary to Lynch's appalling statements, FBI agents believe a deal was struck between Lynch and Clinton to keep Hillary out of harms' way, meaning she would never be indicted. Makes sense to me, because despite overwhelming evidence Hillary marches on. It has also been suggested that Lynch was told she could look forward to a seat on the Supreme Court if all went according to plan and Hillary was elected. Makes sense to me, as well.

Money, Money and Comey

Clinton will never be indicted and she can thank FBI Directory James Comey, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and President Obama for insuring her freedom. Peter Comey is James Comey's brother. His law firm does the Clinton's taxes. Oops! Peter serves as a 'Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas" for DLA Piper. DLA Piper is number five on Hillary's top Contributor's List. . In 2013, James Comey became a board member of the London Bank HSBC Holding. HSBC partnered with the Clinton Foundation. The Clinton Foundation's tentacles reach far and wide. The players are all around us, and it is highly unlikely we will ever get to the heart of all the corruption.

Let There Be Light

Amidst all this doom and gloom comes the possibility of a light at the end of the tunnel. Like him or not WikiLeaks', Julian Assange, is reportedly going to "finish Clinton once and for all" with an announcement from his balcony in London. If anyone can derail her train, maybe he can.

Tevya's Song

Dear God,

You made so many crooks

Among thieves it's no shame to be a crook

But for the rest of us

It's no great honor either....
