Since I began writing stories for hub pages, I’ve had six articles removed with the reason being ‘duplicates’ and most recently as ‘hate speech.’

Curiously all of them were about Islam.

I have one right now that is nothing but photos of Muslim families in the Middle East, on vacation. There is no rhetoric, other than short captions under each photo. It was pulled because it was called “hate speech,” even when I removed all text other than a few photo captions.

Photo # 1 is a family on a jet ski, and the only comment I make is ‘Seaspray and wind in your face.’

For all the other photos of which there are five I’ve made equally as hateful comments, like “Entire family cools off in the sea,” and “Beautiful beach in the Middle East.”

Every single photo is a shot of Muslim families on vacation at the sea, in the shallow ocean water, on Jet Ski’s etc.

OK here’s the truth about the photos. They are absolutely horrifying, because the entire family is dressed comfortably for the beach, in swim trunks etc, EXCEPT MOM. She is seen riding on the Jet Ski with her entire face and body swathed in black fabric.

The photo that really made my stomach twist was the one where there are four small children with buckets and shovels and one tall father standing in the shallow, enjoying the cool of the sea water, the beautiful beach and the sun while mother is smothered in black with only the tiniest slit for her eyes, her heavy black robes wet and soggy.

This absolute disregard for this mother as a human being, this subjugation, this arrogance is on full display in this photo without any comment.

Over a year ago I wrote an article for HUB PAGES that was about terrorists in Southern California, especially Siraj Wahaj who is an American, born in the USA, and chose to join the terrorists. He speaks all over the USA, spewing hate and predicting the take over of our country by Islam. He even went so far as to call our country garbage. Here is Siraj Wahaj’s exact comment. “You know what this country (USA) is? It’s a garbage can. It’s filthy.”

For some reason that article escaped the censorship button.

BUT, today, since I learned that this same terrorist is going to be given a SPEAKING SPOT AT THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION I went back to my article and edited by putting his name in the title. I’m guessing you will never see that article again. It’s entitled, “Terrorists in Southern California.”

Yes, indeed the Democrats are bussing in 20,000 Muslims so they can speak, and have a call to prayer at their convention. I think voters need to know that a Muslim, who hates this country, who follows Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam and who was an unindicted co conspirator in the first World Trade Center bombing is going to be a speaker at the Democratic convention.

I think Americans need to see these pictures and remember that Siraj Wahaj, darling of the Democrats, wants to replace American law with Sharia Law.

Hi mislizzee, I had some hubs that were published for months challenged for duplicate content. I tried to find out what part of the hub was supposedly copied, could get no information, so I just pulled them myself and have not written anything since. I suspect it has something to do with some reader complaining about content within the hub that gets it pulled down.

What you express in this hub should make people outraged that this person will be speaking at the convention.

Maybe a hopper flagged them? Who knows... Some people are super sensetive about that stuff and can probably justify flagging for any reason. It's a shame though.

I don't think it is right that your hubs were removed. The pictures are the truth and in this religion the woman remains covered from head to to in fabric. It looks cruel and if the Democratic conventions brings their 20,000, I don't think it will resonate well with many Americans. I know there are some wonderful Muslim families, but it is hard to not remember the terror of 9/11 and all that we see overseas. Very interesting topic.

Hi Old Pool: Nice to hear from you. Before my photos essay of Muslims on vacation got pulled I got a real nasty email from a . . .quess who, a Muslim. He was outraged that the hideous bigotry against women was on display in photos. Well, I don't write much for this hub anymore either, because of that. Thank you for reading and writing. Lizzee

Hi KK: Thanks for reading. I've found if you write anything about Islam you get bombarded by people who support Sharia Law, and all that stuff they believe in.

Hi Pamelagg: Islam is an interesting topic, and the members of the Muslim Brotherhood have managed to get themselves appointed to positions within the White House is to me just horrible. Did you know that there are Muslims on the Security Council? Yes, they help to decide how USA defends itself, thanks to appointments by Obama.

The press is already censored and controlled and soon all bloggers will come under scrutiny from Washington if Obama wins another term. Keep writing. I never received the memo that said we were no longer free to express ourselves.

Hi Pop:

If Obama wins, I'm gunna git me a gun :)

Seriously, he is so desperate to win and continued ruining the country, I bet we have an October suprise. Something violent. Something to make himself look great, or so violent the elections are interrupted.

This needs to be seen. It gives me great pause to hear why and how often your work has been censored. There is a distinct difference between discussing and reporting, critically examining things and exploring topics and spouting hate. More and more, all over and I mean everywhere from the work place to TV to the internet I am seeing this trend of any discussion that is not totally flattering in every way to certain groups being labeled as "hate".

This trend scares the hell out of me. It's programming everyone to some degree or another, in my opinion, not to question, not to speak not to dare think! It is nothing more than a weapon being used against us cloaked under the guise of sensitivity which makes it all the more insidious.

Interesting how a Hub can sit for a very long time and then draw attention from an over zealous moderator, who at times, may only want to make a name for themselves in the dark halls of Hub Pages. The left, and this is a left leaning management, seems at times intent on stifling free speech even though they like their own.

It seems to get worse as we approach any election. A lot of this has to do with other users making stupid reports alleging offensive content or hard to read graphics. I've been there with moderation teams so I know of what I speak. I have been a moderator myself and all I can tell anyone is to let people speak unless it is truly vulgar and offensive.

I could write on but I won't. What you are writing about Lizzee is exactly why many writers decide to write elsewhere. When they do, and they do, they take many readers with them.

What KK referenced above should be cause for suspension from the Hub. No one has the right to flag anything because they don't agree with the content. But it is allowed to happen.

Thank You Poetvix for your thoughtful comments. Muslims are trying through the United Nations, to make talking about them A CRIMINAL OFFENSE. I suspect the minute I write about Islam those folks that are Muslims begin to complain, but out of 140 hubs I've written only a few have been on this subject. I've never had one on wedding flowers shut down.

Hi Frog: Thank you for your comments. I don'twrite much for Hub anymore because I usually spend a lot of time on researching what I write and more time writing it and to just have it dumped because it's about Islam is frustrating.

I suspect that hp is the hatchet but one of your fellow hubbers is the problem. Censorship is one thing but when hp won't give a definitive reason that can be used to fix the hub that is another thing.

It is interesting that hate is definable as a criteria on hp, yet there is no clear definition of it to use as a reference.

ib - I went a round about just what you mentioned. The said something about # of pixels. I questioned how many because the graphic was easily readable. Then I got an answer back saying that "users" were flagging things. That is exactly what is happening in a number of instances I'm sure.

I am persistent and stay on them until they get specific. These laundry lists they send you don't tell you much.

I agree, they need to give more specific references.

I think people who find certain topics offensive, complain and whomever is in charge of deleting stuff, does so. Thanks Frog and Ib

lizzee - Content based complaints because a person disagrees with the writer should be ignored. If a use persists then they should be warned and maybe booted. I have been a moderator before and some of what I see gets a bit ridiculous.

To be honest, this is one of the reasons I don't write more political articles on HP. There is an obvious liberal bias here. But a blogger friend I wrote for about the Islamization of our country is changing up his blogs, so I may just go ahead and try some hubs about the subject here. Thank you so much for fighting the good fight.
