Canada Suddenly Closes Embassy in Iran

Without any warning, Canada suddenly cut all diplomatic ties with Iran and plans to close the embassy. So far, that is the only country that has done it. Some suggest that this may be the "canary" in the cage sounding the warning- that Israel is about to do what it has been saying for months- that is, attack iran's nuclear facilities to stop its first nuclear bomb. For those who do not know, just before Japan attacked the USA in 1941 at Pearl Harbor, Japan closed its embassy in Washington DC. Further, Canada has also kicked out the Iranians in the embassy in Canada, angering Iran.

Iranians ransacked the Canadian embassy in Iran in 2011 as the Iranian police simply watched. Some feel Canada is simply being Israeli's mouthpiece of anger at Iran and it sends a stronger message from the West that patience is indeed, running out and soon some sort of action will follow.

Maybe the Canadians are not as blind as we elect to be in this situation. It is difficult to blame Isreal when their security is threatened by the proximity of this rogue nation. We would probably feel them same given the same geography. Sooner or later, someone has to intervenet before a madman decides to unleash nuclear attacks. ~WB

I find it embarrassing that Canada was the first to do anything. We are supposed to be allied with Israel. To me, it is a sad and shameful commentary on the current administration.
