Chilling 9/11 note reaches family 10 years later
According to Fox News, a note from the 9/11 terrorist attack day has surfaced stating that twelve people were trapped on the twelveth floor of the West building. The note was written by a man named Randy Scott. This man died during the attack. His family thought that he died in peace, but after discovering this note after ten year they realized that this was not the case. The note had traces of the man's blood on it. What a horrible way to die.
The worst thing about this whole thing is that many deaths of 9/11 could have been prevented had the people left the building earlier. You see people were so afraid to lose their jobs that they forgot about the value of their own lives. Also, police often tell people to stay put when in reality it is time to run for your life. If it was me in that building, I would have ran out as soon as I heard anything at all. I guess sometimes we just get so busy doing other things that we do not notice when the building we are in is on fire.
This note has been passed around for ten years before being returned to the family members. I guess it took some time to figure out who wrote it, but also this note has some value to it because it is very rare. Maybe some people just did not want to return it.
Today is the anniversary of 9/11. There is a crowd at the World Trade Center cite as usual. I am just afraid to get on a train or leave the home since I live near the cite. I guess these terrorists have forever changed this day in history for Americans. 9/11 will never be just another day. We will never forget.
I hope that these events make people realize just how valueable our life is. That money is not everything and that sometimes it is okay to just get up and leave. During emergency situations it is often better to listen to your gut instead of blindly following instructions. Half the time authority figures have no idea what they are doing themselves.
