Cult of Personality
An ill Wind Blows
Lately, I have the strongest feeling that there is a very nasty Cult invading our atmosphere, our airwaves and our peace of mind.
It is a cult of greed, lust and ego.
Greed for money. Lust for power. And ego for controlling all thoughts and actions.
I have seen it before, though not at this level of malevolence and activity. It must know that there is not much time left for it to flourish, if flourishing is to be its destiny...which I highly doubt.
As a wise person once said, evil creates nothing, it can only destroy. Sooner or later, it will run its course and slither away from whence it came.
So, I await for this evil to come face to face with whatever it is it is running from; whatever it is trying so hard not to see.
I have a feeling the answer may have been intuited by blogger Les Visible: "You want to be a ruler in Hell, rather than a servant in Heaven." Makes sense, if you think about it, since they are so intent on being in control.
Carlos Casteneda also wrote about this subject in his books. Here is what his teacher, Don Juan Matus had to say, describing our situation:
"The sorcerers of ancient Mexico discovered that we have a companion for life. We have a predator that came from the depths of the cosmos and took over the rule of our lives. Human beings are its prisoners. The predator is our lord and master. It has rendered us docile, helpless. If we want to protest, it suppresses our protest. If we want to act independently, it demands that we don't do so.
Sorcerers believe that the predators have given us our systems of beliefs, our ideas of good and evil, our social mores. They are the ones who set up our hopes and expectations and dreams of success or failure. They have given us covetousness, greed, and cowardice. It is the predators who make us complacent, routinary, and egomaniacal.
Through the mind, which, after all, is their mind, the predators inject into the lives of human beings whatever is convenient for them. And they ensure, in this manner, a degree of security to act as a buffer against their fear."
Fear? Fear of what, I wonder?
Any psychologist will tell you that when fear is your base emotion, a whole lot of turmoil can be expected.
Perhaps they fear being discovered by us, and then we will throw off the shackles of their control?
Whatever it is,
Another ancient source also has wisdom to share on this matter: Gnostic Christianity.
Jonh Lash tells us that Gnostics warned that Judeo-Christian religion, which is patriarchal, messianic, and redemptive (that is, believing in the final judgment of our faults by a messianic figure), is a spiritual virus.
The main struggle of the Gnostics was to expose and resist this virus. Author and researcher Paul von Ward, in his book, , states his view, developed after reading many ancient texts including Sumerian tablets and the Nag Hammadi materials, that the “religions of the Book” (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) are proof of the presence and sovereignty of what he calls ABs, advanced beings. God, Genes and Consciousness
These ABs, who are purely opportunistic, have left us with a religious cultic tradition that is hypercentralized, totally patriarchal, and founded on the concept that man is guilty of an original fault.
According to Von Ward, even our governments are influenced by this concept which, in the worst cases, has produced dictatorships and personality cults (e.g., Hitler, Stalin, Kim Il Sung) .
Could this be why women are so subjugated around the world? And could it be why there is such a fanatic drive for money and power amongst us? Are we only trying hard to erase our feelings of guilt? Or perhaps our feelings of being somehow worthless and sub-standard? For, this is what we are always told.
It's a shame, for we have such potential for beauty, poetry and love.
Anthropologist Paul Levy has written books on the subject as well. He says;
"For several thousands of years human beings have suffered from a plague, a disease worse than leprosy, a sickness worse than malaria, a malady much more terrible than smallpox." Indigenous people have been tracking the same "psychic" virus that I call malignant egophrenia for many centuries and calling it "wetiko," a Cree term which means a diabolically wicked person or spirit.
Author and professor Jack Forbes sees it like this: "We, as a species, are in the midst of a massive psychic epidemic, a virulent collective psychosis that has been brewing in the cauldron of humanity's psyche from the beginning of time. Like a fractal, wetiko operates on multiple dimensions simultaneously -- intra-personally (within individuals), inter-personally (between ourselves), as well as collectively (as a species). "Cannibalism," in Forbes's words, "is the consuming of another's life for one's own private purpose or profit."
The fact that the Cree Indians have noticed, and are studying this phenomenon, tells me all I need to know. It was, after all, their home and land that was invaded by this onslaught of lust for power and greed. As the original peoples inhabiting this space, they are experts in observing the psychology and motivations of the invaders.
Because in America, we have a special brand of a sadistic kind of rule. Sometimes it feels to me like the rulers are telling us that pain is somehow good for us. Like suffering is as necessary as breathing. Yes, some of our leaders are a particular brand of ruthless wanna-be dictators.
This undercurrent in our society was discovered by author Jeff Sharlet, and he wrote about it in a book called "The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power." A reader had this to say about his findings:
"you will get a pretty fair picture of the cynical, amoral manipulators who have been at the heart of our recent history and why they have been so successful. Sharlet is actually describing a cult. In this case, the cult revolves around the idol of Jesus, who offers the monumental advantage of being dead and therefore never showing clay feet, nor contradicting the pronouncements made in his name. Thus, the greedy can more freely persuade the gullible to be happy with their lot in life."
You can see how manipulative this power force is! Jesus ' message was one against greed and the hoarding of wealth. He even said, "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:24). Yet, some of our religions in America are just as money-hungry and wealth-oriented as any corporate bottom-line.
And, in the 1999 movie 'The Matrix', human beings are nothing more than "batteries"... energy for a superior force. They use our energy and discard us afterwards, just as easily as we do a battery.
Sometimes it is just too hard to sift through the dichotomy of what we are told-- on the one hand, and how we behave-- on the other. It makes no sense in many circumstances. As sentient beings with a mind, we must always be on guard. The mind is so easily manipulated by our emotions. And, if these men I have referenced here are correct, we have master manipulators in our midst! But, Jesus said "The law is written on your heart." Keep that in mind, the next time you make a decision to act...which is every second of every day.
I'll end with this observation:
"Almost all people of all eras are hypnotics. Their beliefs are induced beliefs. The proper authorities saw to it that the proper belief should be induced, and people believed properly."
Let us guard ourselves and cover with the armor of Love.
Amitakh Stanford, 16th July 2008
"Regardless of what explanations the Church gives about the Eucharist, the Church has erred and made a mockery of Christ and the True God. Jesus did not want anything resembling the Eucharist, symbolic or otherwise. The whole ritual of symbolically eating the flesh of Jesus is cannibalistic, and horribly offensive to the True Light. The vampiric ritual of drinking the blood of Jesus is repulsively demonic. Only a ghoul would favour such sickening rituals. Only the Anti-Christ would want others to mock Jesus in such a way, week-after-week in “holy” communion. Only the bloodthirsty ghoul who pretends to be a loving god would instigate and spread such gory rituals to contaminate the innocence of “children”, whilst simultaneously rewarding the overt demons with the putrid “pleasures” of the Eucharist. It is no wonder that some people express such love for the Eucharist because they feel empowered by devouring the flesh of Jesus and quaffing His blood."
The eating of flesh and drinking of blood of animals and humans who have been conquered is an ancient custom in many cultures. It is still done in many societies, whether overtly or discreetly, by those who worship the Devil. Many Christians are sickened by customs that require ritual drinking of animal blood, yet they have been so programmed by the Church that they accept the symbolic drinking of Jesus’ blood as a “holy” sacrament. In reality, the ritual of the Eucharist was implemented under the Devil’s influence to attempt to signify a supposed conquest over Christ by Darkness. It is a celebration of a victory that Darkness will never have. Those who sincerely love Jesus have been deceived into partaking in the Devil’s pleasure of mocking the Christ. The Church has become the Devil’s tool."

SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Faculty members at a top Chinese university have collaborated for years on technical research papers with a People's Liberation Army (PLA) unit accused of being at the heart of China's alleged cyber-war against Western commercial targets.
Several papers on computer network security and intrusion detection, easily accessed on the Internet, were co-authored by researchers at PLA Unit 61398, allegedly an operational unit actively engaged in cyber-espionage, and faculty at Shanghai Jiaotong University, a centre of academic excellence with ties to some of the world's top universities and attended by the country's political and business elite.

Chaldea...just the name sounds romantic! In many ways, we have lost the romantic, the spectacular and the sublime from our daily lives. I seek to re-kindle that fire.
Have followed my sign diligently since learning of it: associated with it, agreed with the ideals it represents....only to find out in my 30's that I, and others, have been following the wrong sign!
