Send a Cup of Joe to a Joe Fighting Overseas

American Tradition: Cup of jo

If I was betting I would say this GI was enjoying a cup of jo full strength, not decaf.

CUP of Coffee and Tea right in the Combat Zone

Amazingly many of the cafes serving a Cup of Joe for a Joe are mobile units located at forward operating bases.  These areas are extremely dangerous, where our troops are under the constant threat of attacks but Green Been Coffee Company has successfully brought a small comfort from home like a great cup of coffee and tea to these remote locations.  The service men can pick a premium cup of coffee with full strength caffeine or if they are stressed they can opt for the decaf version so everyone can benefit from this program.

Cup of jo or Cup of joe? Decaf or regular?

Put a smile on a service member's face with a free cup of jo. Decaf or regular.

Cup of coffee and tea are on the menu for our service members.

A calming cup of tea can hit the spot after a long day.

How to Donate to Cup of Joe for a Joe

Participation in the program has been made very simple by the Green Beans Coffee Company. You simply go to their website; there is an ad on this page so you can simply click on it. Once you’re at the Green Beans Coffee Company website click on the Cup of Joe tab at the top then follow the simple four step process.

Step one, in the Buy A Cup of Joe Now box click on the number of service members you want to support ($2 per member) or you can enter your donation amount in the box if you want to donate a different amount then listed in the box. Then click Buy a Cup of Joe.

Step two, a simple form will come up and you enter your message of support to the service member receiving your generous gift of a cup of coffee (regular or decaf), tea or hot chocolate.

Step three, enter your payment information.

Step four, Green Beans Coffee Company delivers your gift of a cup of joe and your message. The service member will also be given a chance to respond and most of them do so keep an eye on your email for their letter of thanks.

A Morale Boost Provided by You:  a Cup of Joe and Tea Brightens their Day

I can tell you from personal experience that when a service member is serving overseas away from their family any act of kindness or attention from people back home is a huge morale boost. So put a smile on a Joe or Jane’s face by sending them a cup of joe and a short note to say thank you. Through your participation in this program our service members are enjoying a cup of joe, a small but welcomed comfort of home while reading your message of support.

The Green Beans Coffee Company donates a portion of each of its transactions to charities that care for military families and the children of fallen service members. These charities are: TAPS: www.taps.org, Soldiers’ Angels: www.soldiersangels.org, and Children of the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund: www.cfsrf.org. So when you purchase products from the Green Beans Coffee Company you are helping to support our military heroes and their families while enjoying a great cup of joe and tea.

In the event the ad link is not working you can access the Green Bean Coffee Company’s Cup of Joe for a Joe at www.greenbeanscoffee.com/coj/index.php. Please use the ad link because 5% of the proceeds raised from it will be used to buy a cup of joe for a Joe and yes decaf if that is what they desire.

This is a selfless hub. It had to be written by someone

who had lived the topic.

Way to go, AF CHIEF.
