Debt Reduction Committee

Due to Washington DC inability to resolve the Debt Ceiling Crisis before having to go public because of election year rivalries, I would like to make a suggestion that DC bring in outside people to serve in the Debt Reduction Committees. First we could all use the jobs and goodness knows working in DC is good money and they raises are guaranteed. I of course am being sarcastic but if called I would happily take the job. Second, I believe the people that will be effected the most by the determinations of the debt reduction committee, The People, should be allowed to make the determinations. And third we all paid into social security and the government is trying to federalize all of our payments.

Why does DC need a to hire a committee to reduce debt. Do they not see their own dsyfunction in this measure? They have to spend more money thus making government bigger and hire more help in order to reduce government spending. It is terribly ironic to say the least.

Why can't members of Congress do their jobs without having to hire other people to do their work for them? Again if they called I would take the job.

It would seem that both parties have made the debt ceiling debate so toxic that niether party is willing to deal with the responsibility of resolving the political disaster they have created. So they need to import help, hopefully USA citizens, to clean up after them.

What a disaster and what a train wreck to have hire help to reduce spending? Again I would happily take the job. You have to wonder if Washington DC will ever get its act together. Spending more money to save money is completely illogical.

In Closing

Looks like the two step plan is going to make it in as what else would you need a committe for. Oddly, I will never understand how DC can justify spending more money to save money but if they call I am in. Goodness knows I will need the income the way things are going.

Obviously, they may pass something but it will not be near enough or there would not be a suggestion of a Debt Reduction Committee. I assume it will be bipartisan because DC doesn't do anything that isn't bipartisan so everyone can share the blame.

Take heart though my readers, I am certain I will not receive the call to be on the Debt Reduction Committee as I have suggested we throw all the Bums out of DC.

DC has to spend money to save money that is just baffling logic to me. Where are the funds gong to come from but from increasing revenues to pay for the committee? Just baffling. I look forward to hearing form all of you on this one.

Are you as baffled as I am by this logic?

Are You Baffled?

Are you Baffled by Congresses Logic to Spend Money to Reduce Debt?
