Something has bothered me lately about the platform of the liberal party, and it begins with a one way street of political correctness geared through a refining process which has been mastered over the past few decades by liberal elites. That is the art of race baiting.
Race baiting is now the bulk of the left wing conversation. No matter what you are discussing it always seems that the end conclusion of a liberal who disagrees with your point of view is that you must be a bigot. Now there's something to push back with when backed into a corner! After all when loosing a debate what better way to shut down the conversation than to level an attack against one's character?! Or in some way show to the onlooker that your opponent is a racist or a bigot?!
There are few accusations in our day that trump the damage that can be done to an individual on a personal and professional level than that of intolerance, racism, and misogamy. In this form the party of liberals proves their weight in guilt over one of the most egregious sins of all, that is to falsely accuse another.
the mindset is to suggest that if a woman is not a liberal she must be subservient to men and is therefore oppressed by her male counterpart.
The current debate is over the oppression of women in the workplace who statistically make less money than men do. While this is true they don't seem to take into account the fact that a large portion of women voluntarily remove themselves from the workforce for several years in order to take personal responsibility for the care of their children. This leaves the man to continue in building his career which inevitably causes them surpass the woman's professional work experience.
Another ongoing factor in the debate is abortion and the woman's so called "right to choose". While the liberal agenda is to pander to the idea that government should stay out of a woman's body, they unceasingly insist that government must fund the proprietors of the abortion industry thus imposing government interjection on the very bodies to whom they wish government to stay out of.
Recently ACORN was exposed for violating the law as they offered tax advice and amnesty to undercover organizations posing as pimps and prostitutes. After several videos were released they lost the support of the US census burro and ACORN went bankrupt, proving that the abortion industry would be nowhere near as big as it is without government subsidies.
Democrat Lyndon B Johnson
Democrats point to Nixon's "southern strategy" to give credence to the notion that the parties suddenly switched sides in the late sixties in order to white wash all the racism and injustice that came out of American liberalism. And in doing so they have convinced minorities that the left is the party of tolerance, and only the conservative mindset harbors hatred and bigotry.
Liberal President Woodrow Wilson however linked his liberalism to his staunch racism. where he enacted the Jim Crow laws which stripped blacks of their basic rights and legalized segregation.
Liberal democrat Lyndon B Johnson was forced by a Republican Senate majority to sign into law the civil rights act. He also vehemently detested Republican civil rights activist Martin Luther King.
Now some people assert that the racism in this country is geographically secluded to the southern states, Yet there isn't any legislation being pushed through to reinstate liberal segregation laws like, Jim Crow, slavery, dread Scott, revocation of civil rights, denial of forty acres and a mule, anti-miscegenation, or eugenics. All laws that were initiated by liberals, and none of which are on the Republican plate, they never have been and never will be.
But all day long liberal commentators and the liberal media talk about non existent racial issues in order to divide and conquer. Despite the fact that all of the fortune 500 companies have policies aimed at hiring and promoting minorities, and woe be unto anybody who would ad hear to a traditional standard of hiring the best person for the job.
We saw this most recently during the Treyvon Martin case when the media called Zimmerman a, "White Hispanic". I guarantee they would have called him something else if he were receiving the Nobel prize and "White" wouldn't be in the equation. Then they edited the tape to make him sound like a racist.
And what's their solution to this imaginary racism? Affirmative action. Which in its self is a system that treats people differently based solely on the color of their skin. Just another example of government mandated discrimination from the left.
The subtlety of the liberal agenda can be summed up in this quote from the book "Demonic" by Ann Coulter ; "But the Democratic platform is to follow the mob because that is where they seek power. Whether they are demagoguing white voters with claims that the big bad republicans are the party of blacks, to demagoguing black voters telling them Republicans are the party of racists, it solely depends on where the storm lies."
It's textbook Saul Alynski tactics that move them. After all, "you don't let a crisis go to waste" according to Rahm Emanuel of Chicago. Democrats just switched mobs. They will champion any group of rabble rousers they can find in order to accrue votes.
Bull Connor is the classic example of a liberal Democrat. He was described as a man who didn't really believe in anything, and a political opportunist who used opposition to integration to try to get himself ahead. Nothing more.
These days a black person who votes conservative is labeled an Uncle Tom, and a traitor to his or her race for having the common sense to oppose the flagrant government spending and keynesian economics that are tearing this country apart from the inside out.
For most Hispanics coming into this country and working to be a citizen of the United States is a sought after and respectable goal. And while those people wait in line to come in legally, and legitimately, others are coming in through the back door many of which are selling drugs and causing destruction of private property. And should a politician suggest that the people living here follow the laws of the land they are immediately branded a racist.
I can think of no better way to slap the face of an immigrant from the south than to give away citizenship to those who have done it illegally with no regard or intention to inherit this American culture. This country was founded by immigrants who came here with the hope of pursuing the American dream. And that dream was made possible through a free trade system that was like no other in the world. But today that dream has been crushed by those who wish to seek power by emboldening Mexican immigrants through a premise of victimization, and race baiting. They offer reparations and apologies to people of other countries who have never lived here, and embolden them with the idea that this land already belongs to them when it does not.
There are an innumerable host of laws that have been enacted which take money from the wealth producers and hands it over to those who refuse to work and are coddled by society into believing that they are the victims of an oppressive system. They therefore believe that they entitled to free money. Yet in spite of these "good intentioned" policies the percentage of poverty stricken people does not decrease.
The notion that wealth can be created out of thin air is unfathomable to them, and the only explanation of this phenomena is that when you see a fat guy standing next to a skinny guy it must be that the fat guy took food away from the skinny guy in order for him to get fat.
in contrast consider for a moment that when you look at a magnificent city like Seattle, New York, or Los Angles, which only a few hundred years ago didn't exist and is now replete with sky scrapers, motor vehicles, aircraft, electronics and other amazing technological innovations available to the common man, and see this culture that is awash in wealth and opportunity, that all of it was built out of the dreams and aspirations of nothing more than hard working Americans inspired by those eloquent words of our declaration of independence; "the pursuit of happiness".
The entitlement system that America has grown into at the hands of the liberal agenda has put this nation into the most crippling kind of debt the world has ever seen. And despite the fact that there are people who are actually starving to death in other countries like Africa, liberals hold to the idea that the poor are being held down and starved by evil corporations in America. In fact it is government entitlements that cause them to remain in a childhood like state of dependence. They are sold on the idea that only a sucker would walk away from free handouts.
Yes there are legitimately poor people in America whom the churches, synagogues, and mosques could easily care for, but there are much more people who are simply taking advantage of an indiscriminate system whose outward premise is to care for the poor, but inwardly is only good for buying votes.
In recent years liberals have attempted to invoke their mob like mentality on homosexuals by creating a civil rights issue over the definition of marriage. I believe this is a sensitive subject to be spoken of with care, and by constraint.
In order to have an honest conversation on the subject there needs to be a dialogue between both sides of the fence. But that isn't on the liberal plate. Most states are currently adopting policies which includes verbiage such as, "everything but marriage", in order to protect the rights of churches and to afford homosexuals the same opportunities that other couples enjoy, and if they do not there should be discussion to change the laws accordingly. But that's not enough for liberals, they won't be happy until the entire institution of marriage is redefined and the Pope is performing a gay marriages at the Vatican.
And that is how liberalism in America works; to make victims out of every group they can find, trump up a list of grievances, and provide a solution which drastically changes the social contract. It is met little foresight over the lasting effects that will take place and is nothing more than an attempt to undermine our freedom of religion in order to usurp power. They guilt you into believing that if you are a homosexual you would be a self hating bigot if you did not fully support their cause.
I think it is important to express to those among us who are of the homosexual persuasion a true concern and devotion to affording every right that is granted to every citizen of the United States under the constitution, and that they too are entitled to the God given right to pursue happiness, and that those rights may never be abridged as long as this republic stands.
Democrats pull native Americans into the category of oppressed people with their blatantly failed multicultural policies. Multiculturalism has been a time tested failure on various fronts around the world. The intention is to preserve the individuals heritage, which is a good thing, but implementing multiculturalism into law only creates division and ultimately subservience of races. Something that civil rights activists fought against for hundreds of years.
Even when Democrat Elizabeth Warren categorized herself on her job applications as a "Native American", she still insisted that she got where she did based solely on her talents and didn't need any extra government intervention based on her supposed ethnic disadvantages.
But that's the way they operate, liberals only convince the people they target that they are victims to accrue power. And the idea that job creators would prefer to hire an incompetent employee who is a liability to their industry simply because they share the same racial background, over a competent member of a minority group is ludicrous.

A lot of very white people with Southern roots always seem to be claiming that they have a native American ancestor in their family tree. If you're going to say it, might as well prove it.
