If I Were The Prez
What I Would Do If I Were President
People today look back at Nazi Germany and wonder, How could a society be so blind as to let that kind of thing go on right before their eyes?
Well wake up sheep...it's happening right before your eyes in the
United States. Our Government isn't committing genocide...at least not
yet...but they have done about every other thing that Germany did back
in the 30's and 40's, only more casually. They aren't to blame
though...we citizens are letting them get away with it...nay, in fact
we are encouraging it. Every time we vote for something like
anti-smoking laws, prosecution against victimless crimes, or the
approval for the government to step in to bail out a failing business,
we are enabling them to take away more and more of our freedoms.
Without getting too in depth here, let's just take one of those as an example...say the anti-smoking laws in public places. Do you really think that your government gives a flying you-know-what about your health? Heck if they did, they would have socialized medicine a long time ago. That whole thing is not about the health of some waitress whom, for lack of choice apparently, is forced to work in an environment where she has to breath the tarnished air of a smoke-filled bar. It's all about the government systematically removing yet another civil liberty from our lives. And with every success, they open the door for bigger and more complete excisions down the road.
Now I'm an advocate of freedom of choice, no matter what it concerns, even in the case of the right to abortion. And the Supreme Court apparently agrees with me. But how can someone honestly think it should be legal for a woman to decide whether or not she is going to kill a fetus, and in the same breath say that it should be illegal for a business owner to decide whether or not he wants to have a smoking section in his privately-owned establishment??? We do still have a thing called Private Prpoerty, and Private Ownership in this country, don't we? Or do we?
The difference between Communism and Fascism is basically this: under Communist rule, the government owns everything...and as such they bear the burden and the spoils of that ownership. In a Fascist society, the burden of ownership is left to the private individual, but the government can still dictate how you are going to operate that business...even to the point of usurping that business's productivity for the betterment of the society if need be. Who would have thought 50, 20, or even 10 years ago, that the Federal government in the United States would have been owning huge percentages of companies that were staples on the DOW 30? And yet, what are they doing right now? And we all know that anytime the government has been involved in ANY kind of business, they have done nothing but destroy the entire industry. Just look at the sad shape our passenger-train system is in this country, thanks to government intervention through the anti-trust laws.
In reality though, we can't really blame our elected officials...at least not directly. They are, after all, mere puppets. The powers that really pull the strings are the invisible puppeteers behind the scenes. We will probably never know who they all are...unless of course we are in government ourselves and are forced to deal with them directly. If we could talk to someone like John Kennedy, he could probably give us some names. I'm sure that most of our elected officials start their careers with our best interests at heart; but the "if I can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude takes over eventually...sometimes at the threat of losing one's life or career. Call them spineless...I do...but can we really blame them? It takes a special person to put his own life up in defense of what is right these days, and unfortunately, there are many that talk the talk, but can't walk the walk.
It's time we stood up against these "powers that are". They can't beat us all down. Collectively we can take this country back...we can restore our freedom---the freedom our fore-fathers envisioned---and fight the socialized "new world order" that is so quietly, yet so obviously, being promoted before our very eyes. For the first time in American history, my generation has it worse than the generation before it. And now my daughter's generation is facing an even worse fate. What is to become of her children? Or their children after them?
A little revolution is always a good thing.
So, as your President, these are just a few things I would strive to accomplish:
- Return the Federal government back to the state of its original design as put forth in the U.S. Constitution.
- Abolish the Central Banking System.
- Make all departments of the government accountable.
- Abolish the Welfare State.
- Discover the real truth about alien life and disseminate that information to the public.
- Find out who the "powers that be" really are, and prosecute all of them for crimes against the American people. Once found guilty, they would be stripped of all their wealth and property and then exiled to a small, uninhabited island off the coast of Antarctica where they would have nobody to feed on except each other for a change.
- Ensure that, once I'm assassinated, (and I would be), Pink Floyd would be commissioned to play at my funeral. Paula Abdul would be paid a nominal fee in drugs to dance on my grave.
So don't forget to vote for me in 2012! My name will be listed on your ballots directly above the ever-popular Mickey Mouse.
