If your elected federal politicians were CEOs in the private sector "they'd be going to prison for life! "

Financial Crimes

As Mark Levin has said many times on his radio show, "If what these politicians are doing, if they did it in the private sector, if they were CEOs, they'd all be going to prison for LIFE. That's how serious these financial crimes are...that's what these are, they are financial crimes!"

"What Obama is doing, what the democrats are doing, what the sellout republicans are doing is immoral. It is immoral to you, it is immoral to your kids, it is immoral! If this was the private sector all of these people would be rounded up, charged with multiple felonies tried and in my view convicted ... and serving lifetime prison sentences."

"Why is it a noble enterprise when federal politicians do that which you are prohibited as a matter of federal law and morality from doing in the private sector? When Obama talks about social security the way that he talks about it, Obama care the way he talks about it and our fiscal situation...if he were the CEO of a company talking about the company's finances that way and those programs were unsustainable, those programs were built on level after level of debt he'd be indited. Absolutely, he'd be indited, so would Harry Reid, so would so many of the rest of them."

Mark Levin and the other true conservatives deserve our thanks for telling it like it is. The main stream media of today never, yes I said NEVER, tells it as it is unless as it is, is the way they want it to be!

Obama, lying from the start, now it's a joke to him.

"Shovel Ready?"

Did you know of the $830,000,000,000 (yeah that is what 830 billion looks like) stimulus bill only 6% went to road and infrastructure repair? So, imagine you are a shareholder in the company USA Inc. Is this the CEO you would want running USA Inc.?

Obama Tax Hikes Defended by Myths and Straw Man Arguments

As anyone who can think for themselves knows, liberals have taken the meaning of the words "double standard" to a whole new level applying it to almost every aspect of personal and political life. "Do as I say, not as I do" seems to be their mantra.

I spend a lot of time listening to news on TV and radio and I have to say I have never heard a liberal talk for long without lying, using innuendo, belittling opponents, evading the question, raising a straw man, asserting their superiority and then lying some more!

The word LIBERAL is just an acronym for their playbook.

Liberals would say conservatives like me have no sense of humor?

How many more decades will this mantra be in vogue?

The gov money hole:THIS VIDEO --- WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH!! ---

The Outstanding Public Debt

I think of my grandson. Do you know how much money he already owes at age 2 1/2? Today because of the rampant SPENDING of our federal government he is already over $45,000 in debt! The Outstanding Public Debt as of 24 Jul 2011 at 04:24:12 AM GMT was:

$14,351,573,114,945.45

Source

The estimated population of the United States was 310,989,525 and each citizen's share of this debt is $46,148.09.

I've kept this short so that apolitical types might read it all. Anyone can Google government spending, waste, double standard, or other topics in this hub to find tons of information and educate yourself. It's up to YOU and I to see something is done about this ASAP. What kind of people are we to allow politicians (who "...if they did it in the private sector, if they were CEOs, they'd all be going to prison for LIFE") to mortgage our children's and grandchildren's future to pay for failed spending programs that never end and are full of greed and waste - I never voted for that and I'm sure YOU didn't either! It's time the rubber hit the road and YOU my friend stand up and let your voice be heard! Call or write to your elected representatives and the President and if that doesn't work, VOTE THE BUMS OUT, and keep voting them out 'til they learn. As Mark Levin would say,

"You have to change 'Washington' to change Washington!"

Boehner GOP Response to July 25 Obama Address to Nation.

This came first from Obama - lies, fear mongering, class warfare, blame game...then the red, white & blue. For Obama it's all about getting re-elected.

Mark Levin says, and I quote

Well Mark Levin...perhaps you should guess again?

"If what these politicians are doing, if they did it in the private sector, if they were CEOs, they'd all be going to prison for LIFE"

While that line makes a great attention getter, and should be true ... IN REALITY IT IS NOT TRUE!

excellent article, we need to do something, vote them ALL out of office, new ones cannot be any worse and they just might be better.

I wrote a response to this; however, since it is about 700 words, I posted it as an opinion piece instead:

Thanks for the comments!

It is nice to see people stand behind their beliefs even if they are misinformed and just wrong - much better than the fence sitters who are the real reason the country is in the mess we're in - people just don't care.

Since you didn't include a poll on your opinion piece Justmesuzanne I'll add your piece to my poll, since only you two have voted so far.

It doesn't address or refute the main points in my hub about morality of our elected officials and what they have already done to us, democrat or republican - your opinion piece is just another straw man strategy.

Amen to that - just a side line - like all good liberals when they can't win an argument they move to censure or shut the opposition up, thus the reason for http://hubpages.com/politics/Stop-the-GOP deleting all comments including those that pointed out the falacies and distortions of her position (there were no other informed comments) under the guise of "I have no interest in long, drawn out arguments, and I dislike HUBS that have comments a mile long." And that's not censorship? - all she wants to do is kill the discourse - a true LIBERAL and like all liberal positions they cannot stand under the light of day.

The latest on our liberal hub pager, justmesuzanne. After I pointed out she removed the comments capsule from her hub she must have decided that didn't look good so she put comments back on her hub, of course minus many comments like mine that pointed out the lies in her post. Then she barraged my comment section accusing me of slander and begging me in three different comments to remove any reference to her hub and her comments on my hub - she was incensed that I deleted these comments from her on my hub but it was just fine with her that she deleted mine and others on her hub that disagreed with her (the liberal double standard). Instead of corresponding with me privately through email where we might resolve our differences she totally disregards my requests on my hub comments to stick to the subject material on my hub yet if you want to comment on her hub you can't she tells you in her own comments on her hub to make your own hub so you can make money, which is probably the reason she did a hub in reponse to my hub instead of commenting on it.

Since she insists on a public spectacle I guess I'll oblige her as she continues to be a posterchild of points I make in my hub about liberals. I did keep a copy of what I posted on her hub comments and I'm sure she'll be pleased since she condescendingly belittled (the B in liberal) a commenter on her hub for not doing so (like it matters cause she won't allow it anyway) and so I am posting it here because she claims she answered the points I brought up on what she added to her hub after she deleted my comment - UNTRUE - judge for yourself.

First I would like to make one thing clear, when I say some "facts" posted on a hub are lies I am just calling a spade a spade and not necessarily calling the hubber a liar. She may well and probably does believe the lies, but they are still untrue. Conservatives are not comfortable with repeating lies just because they support their position, but liberals are.

Here is the comment I posted that she would not allow you to see.

The GOP is not claiming there is a social security emergency, no one in the GOP is proposing to take anything away from it.

It is not a successful program if it goes broke. In January 2011 the CBO’s revenue/expenditure estimates placed the program in permanent deficit. The new CBO estimates put Social Security in the red for as far as the eye can see. Analysts, partisan and non partisan, say it is going broke and needs to be fixed.

So paragraph one is all lies except maybe Social Security isn't an emergency today, like all government policies they do not want to fix it until it becomes an emergency - good strategy.

"The United States of America is the ONLY developed nation that does not provide health care for all."

Straw man - none of the nations that provide health care for all have systems anywhere near the USA in quality of care, they ration their health care and decide who is eligible for what procedures and their healthcare systems are breaking the governmentS. You want to trade what we have for that?

"We pay MORE THAN ANY OTHER NATION for health care, yet over 50 million of us receive no health care."

Lie again - only 37 million are uninsured not counting illegal aliens and many of these chose not to insure but could. We pay more? - I'd say you get what you pay for.

"Single Payer Universal Health care would SAVE US MONEY because it would make better use of the money we are already paying and it would provide preventative health care for all rather than having 50 million people doing without health care and having to rely on catastrophic health care when they finally get sick enough to be treated."

Blatant LIE ! There is no way on earth you can insure 50 million more people and save money...just common sense.

"The reason we don’t have Single Payer is that the insurance companies would no longer be able to bilk us out of trillions of dollars a year if we did have it and the insurance companies pour lots of money into the coffers of the GOP."

Again a truth mixed with a lie to make another straw man. The GOP only got control of the house last November - before that the Congress (house and senate) and the Presidency was controlled by Democrats who wanted single payer while 70% of America opposed it - don't blame the insurance companies who gave equally to Dems and Republicans back then for your failure to have single payer - it would be a disaster to this country. What programs that the FEDERAL government runs aren't disasters - name one? AND YOU WANT TO GIVE 1/6 OF OUR ECONOMY OVER TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT?

"To save money and curb spending we need to tax billionaires and corporations fairly. Our tax levels now are the LOWEST IN THE WORLD for these entities. 400 individuals in our country hold more than 50 percent of the wealth and they pay the lowest rate in taxes. Corporations pay phenomenally low tax rates, often paying nothing at all AND getting refunds. Compare that with individual Americans struggling to survive below the poverty level while paying huge amounts in taxes and getting little or nothing in return."

No documentation of sources (unlike my hub) makes it easy to lie. Broad statements playing the class warfare card are right out of the liberal playbook going back 80 years. Truth is any taxes the Democrats have proposed will kill job production and hurt the middle class while the rich will just pay accountants and lawyers to avoid paying the taxes. History shows all things being equal that when you raise taxes revenue goes down and vice versa (when will they learn?). Over 50% of the working population pays no taxes; many of these 50% get money back from the government through EIC and other credits.

If you took all the wealth away from the "rich" it wouldn't put a dent in our debt problem.

"Furthermore, to save money, we need to end the illegal, immoral, unnecessary wars that were all started for the purpose of stealing resources from other nations and pouring our tax dollars into the private coffers of the likes of Halliburton."

Another straw man. Well Obama said the same thing when running for election - so now as President why has he totally adopted the Bush - Cheney strategies and measures they asserted to keep this country safe. Thought he was going to close Gitmo too! I think that beef is with your own leadership who has put us into war with Libya without congressional consent and who knows what's next? Not the GOP.

"Bring our troops home NOW! We have no business meddling in the affairs of other nations while people in the US do without jobs and health care, our infrastructure crumbles, and we are told that "we can't afford" to take care of our own people, but we can afford to spend trillions of dollars killing innocent people "en masse" in other countries so that private oil companies can profit."

What does this have to do with what I wrote about (you posted your hub as a response to mine) the immorality of overspending our next generations into eternal debt? Infrastruture? The $830 billion stimulus was supposed to address that and as shown in my hub they spent only 6% in it.

Your goal is to take the debate so far off topic that the original topic of financial immorality of the politicians in control is confused with killing innocent people in other countries - typical liberal ploy of the straw man variety.

The rest of this rant "stop the GOP" doesn't even merit intelligent comment - the same old same old rant - the republicans and capitalist powers want to kill babies and old people and over throw the nation - gimme a break. The only brainwashing going on is by left wing LIBERALISM, symptomatic of the disease of immorality!

We'll see who's opinion is in the majority in the 2012 elections. We obviously see the world through different lenses. However opinions don't change without discourse and I thank you for the opportunity to submit my comment.

That was it in toto. If you care to respond please keep your comment below 830,000,000,000 words cause that much is just a wate.

tsadjatko, stop spreading libel about me. You know that what you are saying is untrue. I have requested that you remove ALL REFERENCE to my and my HUB from this HUB, and I am requesting it again. Kindly remove the hateful falsehoods you are perpetrating. One look at the information I have printed on my own HUB makes it very clear that you are lying. You are only making a bigger fool of yourself.

Thank you so much for your comment. You are so kind as to grace us fools with your superior presence. But you have just supplied the "B" and the "A" in L I B E R A L which I spelled out in my hub (oh and the last L too as it isn't libel if it is true or did you mean I l-i-b-e-r-a-l-ed you and just left out ra).

I wonder doesn't it bother you at all that 5 of the 6 comments you originally deleted from your hub all disagreed with you and now you won't allow any discourse?

It's pretty convenient to limit responses that disagree with you to 300 words on this hub when you have never done that on any of your other hubs. For example:

www.hubpages.com/hub/Tarot-As-a-Problem-Solving-Tool

(I wasn't aware you practiced witchcraft) check out Sue Real's comment 344 words - oh but then she agrees with you on Tarot cards. (actually it seems on your hubs everybody always agrees with you - must be a coincidence, huh). Oh yes and like any good Christian which you profess to be your tarot hub ad links to fortunetelling http://www.asknow.com/microsite/index? I suppose you recommend that our politicians use tarot cards too.

OMG, maybe that's why in the last 5 years our debt has doubled from 8 trillion to over 16 trillion (after they extend the limit)!

tsadjatko,

First, this is a terrific, very informative and well-designed hub.

Second, what is it with liberals and their little sneak attacks in the comments sections of hubs by conservative writers?

I mean, like, the person would not have had any "falsehoods" spread about her if she had just visited here and kept her damned mouth shut.

I read the dribble that liberals write all the time, but I do not ever attack them for writing it. I just read what they have to say and move on.

But I'm grownup, which is something that every single liberal is not.

tsadjatko profile image

tsadjatko 5 years ago from maybe (the guy or girl) next door Author

Thanks Feenix for your thoughts. Yeah, well you know like this hub says, liberals are "entitled" to live by different rules, "do as I say not as I do". e.g. the comments section says not to use comments to promote your own hub and they do exactly that and then tell everyone else to do it too, and when it backfires on them they beg you to delete what they've done, then claim libel 'cause they don't have the power to reverse what they did. They rationalize their censorship of your comment by saying if there are other venues for you to express an opinion it isn't censorship if they delete your comments when the comment disagrees with their view. That would be like the Wallstreet journal censoring their paper and claiming it is not censorship because the article could be published in the Washington Post - Censorship is the suppression of speech or other public communication, unless a liberal chooses to do it, then it's OK by their made up rules. So I suppose if the government of Iran censors speech it isn't censorship because it could be said in another country - liberals are just total BS.

It irks me they pass laws to raise their own salaries, are able to make money off insider information (anyone else goes to jail) and then the tax payers have to support them in retirement!

Yes, it is so sad to actually take a close look at what our government and political system has become. Even the genius of the founders could not create a system that was immune to corruption and immorality which have become the AIDS of our governmental system and like with AIDS I dread there is no cure, not in the foreseeable future.
