Happy International Women's Day.
International Womens Day is celebrated in China - and in the city of Shaoxing there was a great event at the New Orient Hotel.
There were speeches from various government officials, then a range of performances which included traditional Chinese performances, an Aussie tune from yours truly and friend, opera, fashion, Japanese Dancers etc.
Awards were given to 100 women and men (who represented their families. As they went forward to receive their awards, the music of the famed US series Bonanza was played.
One of the performers was "Charlie Chaplin" who arrived at the stage twisitng to Chubby Checker's "Let's Twist Again"
Then a wonderful luncheon.
