Ex-Chicago Cop Arrested

Has the plot thickened? A new twist in the Drew Peterson case he was finally arrested for the murder of his 3rd wife back in 2004 and his 4th wife is still missing. I wonder how they figured that one out? She mysteriously dies in a tub without any water in it? There is something psychologically wrong with this man and apparently he felt he was untouchable. We all know that the Chicago police department has a shady past, but for God sake Drew Peterson was acting like a class clown in front of the cameras, it was almost as if nothing had happened after the disappearance of his fourth wife. Sounds like the black widow to me only she poisoned them with anti-freeze and still maintains her innocence and believes that her oldest daughter committed all of the crimes. What should his name be? Daddy Long Legs after all the females do bite the heads off of the males after mating, but he certainly is not a female. How about the venomous cobra, they certainly aim to kill, one shot and your out.

Drew Peterson still has maintained his innocence after the death of his fourth wife and ran around smiling at the cameras, was seen on Larry King and acted as if he finally made it to stardom. He certainly did not act like a grieving husband to say the least. His story to me was created from the beginning claiming that she ran off with another man, one would believe that she would have called about her children it is now 2009. Her is man that is trying to still prove his innocence, I wonder if he is in denial, would anyone care to shed some light on that?

Why is is that he dates only younger women? Can he not relate to someone his age? Looks like a control nut and father figure to me. The Savio family is ecstatic about his arrest but still he smiles for the cameras after his arrest and maintains his innocence. Does he believe he is above the law? Will corruption in Chi town still prevail? Imagine being his neighbor and seeing this billy goat running around the neighborhood acting as if nothing ever happened.

All of us have to realize there are children involved in this mess that was created by the class clown himself, Drew Peterson thank goodness that his oldest son has temporary custody of all of them trying to keep them together. Illinois state welfare should recognize that and certainly leave the children alone, they are innocent victims of there father's unstable mind. I believe Drew Peterson knows where his fourth wife is, but the Cobra that he is he will never kiss and tell. That would be the kiss of death, he is an ex-cop he knows how to play the game and he certainly knows what to say and what not to say.

A barrel being carried out, what do you think was in it? I can almost bet my bippy that her innocent body is laying somewhere in the bottom of Lake Michigan, I can almost bet that someone had seen something but nobody wants to speak due to the corruption in the police department. Chicago is a city that never sleeps, that is what Frank Sinatra sang so somebody, somewhere, had seen something on the night his fourth wife turned up missing. This ex- cop knew where to dump her body, so why is it that he is out smarting his own precinct? Two deceased women and what drew them to him? It certainly wasn't his looks, or was it? It gets better his new girlfriends father claimed that even though his bail was set for a cool $20 million he has the money to get out of jail. If they had charged him, then why did they set a bail amount? They could have set it without bail.

Do your own CSI investigation and note your comments as maybe one of us can help the police department figure out this crime. Drew Peterson is in denial, I believe the truth will come to light.

I will give you the main plot http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-071101peterson-photogallery,0,6654063.photogallery there are pictures, information about the case www.chicagotribune.com bookmark it, you be the judge is Drew Peterson Innocent or Guilty? Why?

I think he's guilty and I think that new Illinois law, which allows a judge to admit hearsay evidence in court, is going to seal his fate. If it's true that wife 4 told her priest that drew confessed to killing wife 3, he's going away for a long, long time.

I also believe he is guilty. I feel if he was able to do it once then he can do it more than once. It just seems to strange that it would be anyone else.

guilty, he should't be locked up, he should be put on board with badco and cabin girl on their boat, that will be hell for him... hha

no serious he's guilty and an absolut disgrace to humanity and the police force, what respect does he embodies for the law...

Yuck, I definitely think he is guilty. I hope they have something to convict him with and if allowing hearsay into the trial gets the job done, then I'm all for it. If the 3rd wife's death is now officially ruled a murder, it seems pretty certain what ol' Drew's been up to.

In researching the case, I noticed that each one of his relationships ended because he was cheating with the subsequent girlfriend/wife...just thought that was something of interest about his personality.

The dude creeps me out, to be honest. How could that young girl have been shacking up w/ him in light of his habit of having his wives die mysteriously. Guess it's cause he's so rich..eeeesh.

Hopefully he gets put away and he can be Mr. Badazz to all his new prison buddies. No matter what happens, I'm guessing someone like that will reap what he's sown in some way that's beyond control of shackle or court decision.

Thanks for bringing our attention to the fact that he had been arrested and providing the link w/ so much info. I just feel so bad for the kids.

Guilty as sin.

But he's no dummy - he knows with all the publicity he's creating, not only in Illinois, but coast to coast - there's no way he can get a "fair" trial, or at least a trial he can't challenge as being fair without change in venue because of pre-trial notoriety and publicity. But what venue? This is headline news in every city in the nation!

men are dorks: locked up with badco and cabin girl? lololo I wonder who cabin girl is anyway I believe she could be BP.lololo

RooBee: He creeps me out to and to think those women fell for him ewwww.

bean counter guy: He certainly is smart and that is what makes many of us ill, he knows how to play the game maybe he feels when trial comes and goes he will be laughing the entire nation in the face.

Too many concidences. If this is not guilty by association, then what is. A police officer who knows the ins and outs of crime scenes, possible secrets to kill people w/o detection. We defnitely do not need this to continue. Lock him up

ocbill: He is shady and the police department is known for corruption I believe they should do the right thing and should have put him in jail, without being able to post bond as it seems to me he could be a possible flight risk.

I think he is guilty, very guilty.  You may want to change the wording in your poll, though.  You are asking if he is 'innocent or guilty' yet the choices are yes, no.....kinda confusing. :)

He's a killer probably more than we think. I would just unsolved murders or rapes of women in a 100 mile radius.

I definitely think this guy is guilty. He offends every idea of a good man with his smug appearances in media. I am all about due process, but this guy is creepy. Part of that reason is because my surname sounds exactly the same. He spells his name wrong though....PetersOn as opposed to PetersEn.

trooper22: He is creepy and smiling for the cameras, waving, there is something deeply wrong mentally.
