According to the German publication 'Bild' it says it has sources given to it by Italian security forces that Islamic State are going to target holiday resorts in Europe. The attack apparently will be similar to the attack on the beach in Tunisia where 38 British holiday makers died at the hands of a lone IS operative.

Italian interior ministry sources have, however, denied the reports saying the reports are just hear say and there is nothing definite. Maybe the Italian interior ministry does wish to cause panic at this time and are keeping things under wraps until they have thoroughly checked out what is going on as regards Middle East terrorist groups like Islamic State and Al - Qaeda.

But then why would 'Bild' report this, surely they are not that desperate for a story as they would spread lies or rumours. If that is the case because perhaps of flagging readership then shame on them and they should be held to account for their fear mongering.

If though these stories are true the 'Bild' report says its sources say that the Costa Del Sol in Spain and the south of France will be targeted by Islamic State. Apparently Islamic State operatives again according to 'Bild' are frequently travelling back and forth between Europe and the Middle East posing as holiday makers or business people and if not that then sneaking in with migrants from the Middle East.

Once in Europe the Islamic State operatives would pose as refreshment vendors and place bombs or suicide vests under sun beds and detonate them and massacre fleeing tourists as they did in Paris with automatic weapons.

Islamic State seem to go for soft targets so as they can kill as many civilians as possible which would gain them the greatest impact on the world stage and show to the world they can still hit back outside of Syria and Iraq despite reversals on the battlefield and permanent bombing from Allied and Russian, Iranian and Syrian and Iraqi air forces.

Let us hope that if these reports ring true our security forces are up to the task of defeating this attack before it has even begun.

But now this news is out in the public arena IS may well just tweak their attack and choose other resorts if there is any substance to this story.
